Gorgeous, well maintained park surrounding a stunning gothic cathedral on the North-side of the city. National cathedral of the Church of Ireland, dating from the 12th century. Surrounding grounds are very well kept, with a cafe and outdoor seating to relax in. Interior of the Cathedral is a must see, with sumptuous decoration and many items of historical interest, including the burial place of celebrated Irish author Jonathan Swift.

Perfect spot for photos of the cathedral and to stop for a quiet visit with friends. We had been walking for awhile and wanted to at least see the outside before leaving town. hope to go back since we didn’t have time to tour the inside. But it doesn’t feel like a waste just to visit the park.

Saint Patrick's Park is a beautiful, city-run park immediately adjacent to Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin. There is a large, manicured open area, seating areas, flowerbeds, a small playground, and a snack bar. Excellent views of the cathedral. Highly recommended.
