Came home from England specifically to visit this pub as it was my partners dads local and we were going to spread his ashes and have a drink in his memory, upon entering the pub we were met by the rudest of barmen who told us he only served "locals",tried to explain our situation but the same barman just rudely turned his back on us and walked away, to say I'm angry and disappointed is an understatement, especially as i was telling my partner who happens to be English how warm and welcoming the Irish are,makes you feel embarrassed to be Irish that you can't even have a drink in your own home town,especially whe their website says all welcome, shame on yous the pebble beach to be treating treating people a this in this day and...

Ā Ā Ā Read more###Seen this post had to share ####My brother and his partner came from England to spread her Dad's ashes on the wooden bridge in clontarf and to have a pint afterwards in his memory in Grainger's pebble beach because that was his local , only to be told by a member of staff that they weren't being served as it was locals only .My brother tried to explain the purpose of his visit, but the ignorant barman walked away and wouldn't even listen. Absolutely disgraceful carry-on in this day and age .Please can everyone like and share ,let's name, and shame them like they did my brother this morning...
