Mark & Tereasa and staff made us feel so welcome. 10 lad's up from Donegal to watch the rugby looking forward to going back in February for the start of six nations once again. Thanks very much. Regards, Tony *Gang

Go down the left to the lounge at the back. Quiet cozy pints with no real demographic in the clientele. The Guinness is very good and they even do table service. Ideal for quiet evening weekday pints.

Came home from England specifically to visit this pub as it was my partners dads local and we were going to spread his ashes and have a drink in his memory, upon entering the pub we were met by the rudest of barmen who told us he only served "locals",tried to explain our situation but the same barman just rudely turned his back on us and walked away, to say I'm angry and disappointed is an understatement, especially as i was telling my partner who happens to be English how warm and welcoming the Irish are, makes you feel embarrassed to be Irish that you can't even have a drink in your own home town, especially whe their website says all welcome, shame on yous the pebble beach to be treating treating people a this in this day and...

Stay away from this pub, if your from any other place than Ireland ,they look at you and treat you like they stepped into something not nice. special the men with the bald heads , you have little chance of being served here unless they know you. and if this the way the Irish treat people , maybe we from the mainland should not allow them to come over .but that then make us as bad as them. if our money not good enough they its there loss. nothing worst than unpolite and rude people .these and there staff need to learn respect and manners .i have family near Waterford and never been treated in such a disrespectful way .as these place treats you. NEVER AGAIN i will step inside this...

###Seen this post had to share ####My brother and his partner came from England to spread her Dad's ashes on the wooden bridge in clontarf and to have a pint afterwards in his memory in Grainger's pebble beach because that was his local , only to be told by a member of staff that they weren't being served as it was locals only .My brother tried to explain the purpose of his visit, but the ignorant barman walked away and wouldn't even listen. Absolutely disgraceful carry-on in this day and age .Please can everyone like and share ,let's name, and shame them like they did my brother this morning...
