Dear Management, it is to help to improve service at this quite a nice looking place. Ordered coconut matcha. Got it on normal milk but only found out because my partner asked again if definitely on coconut milk as I have cows milk intolerance. When asked to change it, got iced pistachio latte. Also my partner was asked to calm down while asking nicely to change the drink. So from simple coconut matcha ordered, got iced pistachio latte on almond milk??? What went wrong??? Definitely staff should always confirm order before it's completed if not sure. Customer not always need to tell life story of allergies. And magical word Sorry would help. I was disappointed and really frustrated when girl tried to convince me that it was what I ordered first place. We visit East Wall Starbucks quite often and this situation was not pleasant at all and absolutely unnecessary. Staff approach was not the best which shows lack of professionalism, perhaps experience. So if you have intolerance, please say it straight as staff may ignore your order or make it wrong thinking it doesn't matter. It DOes matter. Customers order no diary milk for a reason sometimes. No fork given. Had to walk back downstairs with all belongings and ask for a fork. Mocha was not stirred. Tea ordered was forgotten by staff. Others behind in the queue got their tea before I reminded them of my tea. Upstairs utterly dirty with discarded food bags from the nearby supermarket, leftover drinks from earlier patrons. There 33 minutes and not one single employee checked on the upstairs condition. Staff was engaged with themselves upon exit that I truly did sense that they weren't at all concerned about the customer experience.
