Its rare I take to negatively reviewing a business online but enough is enough. The days of expecting a high standard of fast food delivery and a clean environment from a McDonalds Franchise has well and truly past.
I just left McDonalds in Airside after one of the worst experiences I can imagine from any business I have visited in recent years. "What do you expect, its not a five star restaurant" exclaimed one member of their staff as she did a hand gesture to me while I complained as if to say...whatever!
Ordering from a touch screen is one thing, the screen being very unresponsive, the manager then defending the issue claiming they work perfectly is another. Mcdonalds moving to kiosk ordering is one thing but when the tables are dirty and the staff who I encountered poorly trained in cleaning the table (dirty cloth grabbed from under the fryer) with no use of sanitiser until it was pointed out then that is unacceptable. Embrace technology but do not forget the basics...cleanliness and ensuring your order systems are functioning correctly are as important and will always require good old fashioned hard work and attention to detail sadly lacking these days.
One would think having emerged from a pandemic that we have learned a thing or two about cleanliness. No sanitiser available in the restaurant and when I asked could I use the one visible behind the counter I was advised it was empty and they almost laughed as if to say, it's been like that a while. The Manager Rebecca's reply - you let me worry about what goes on behind the counter.
Having finally put through my order I needed a table number, all three order kiosks had none. Not typically a major issue in of itself but when you have 2 young kids to mind and a malfunctioning screen to deal with aswell, it is frustrating.
We sat at the kids table (one with screens). None worked as I overheard the other customers children trying to use them. The bench contained a delivery drivers bag and lots of in-house stock items, taking up table space in what is a busy restaurant.
And to the most infuriating part...dirty table and incredibly poor and unprofessional attitude from a number of staff and the manager on duty.
I asked for the table to be wiped, no one came. I asked again, they approached with a dirty cloth and no sanitiser, third time lucky ... they wiped the table but only did part of it.
When I brought my issues to the manager Rebecca, I was told I had a bad attitude from the moment I walked in. I was told that these poor standards are normal as it is a high volume restaurant. How far McDonalds have fallen, for decades they have been at the forefront of fast food service delivery capable of churning out high volumes of fresh fast food in a clean environment.
These days you get missed items in your drive through nearly 70% of the time, the restaurants are not clean. The table locator thing is common place or the absence of them I should say.
Standing waiting on the manager, another customer said "if you think this is dirty, check out main street Swords"
Mcdonalds, ye have really lost the plot since the pandemic. I have had several issues and I really hoped you would sort them out. Sadly it is getting worse.
If you are going to reply to this review, please spare me the staffing crisis nonsense. You have plenty of staff in there today, they were not being managed or watching and delivering on the basic operating standards properly.
I honestly mean this...I will never grace a Mcdonalds franchise again as long as I walk this planet. Such a shame and I suspect if you really take a hard look you will note that this is not an isolated opinion, all you have to do is look at the star rating of this particular store. I suspect you aspire to higher than that.

Order not completed fully, items missing,
Caramel frapppes had no caramel
Double quarter pounder was missing from the order when it came to the table. Had to ask for it as it wasn't noticed by the server.
I noticed when I was eating the chips that some of them were not fully cooked, in fact one of the chips still had an end that was ice cold to the touch, it was never even submerged in the oil.
I called over a memeber of their staff, and informed him that they were serving raw chips. He just took them and threw them in the bin, he told me that they were not in long enough that's all.
He offered me a refund or replacement, I told him I didn't want it.
I asked for a manager, there was not one on site.
I asked for a shift supervisor, there was not one on site, I asked him, did he understand how dangerous it is to serve raw chips he just said yeah.
A stick would of had more enthusiasm, Then he just walked away, I fired the chip into the middle of the table and didn't eat them, I went through my daughters and Mrs chips and found a heap of them.
You better hope no one gets sick!!!!!!

Service was fast, however I had to ask the server for napkins as was none provided, he seemed annoyed at the fact I asked for napkins, he had to go inside and get new napkins as he had none at the window, so I'm assuming previous customers ahead of me were also not provided with napkins. Then parked the car to eat the food, only to discover my order was wrong, I had received a normal quarter pounder meal, not double, and the fries were only half full. Out of anger I had to leave my car, and go into the store which was a total mess, bins outside were over-flowing and rubbish all over the outside dining area on the ground. I understand you aim for quick service, however there is a fine line between fast service and poor customer service, and store appearance, especially as a paying customer and not been giving the correct order, half empty fries and having to go into the actual store to correct your order - so it defeats the point of using the drive-thru. I normally don't post negative reviews, however due to the poor customer service and the fact my order was wrong and the state of the restaurant on the day I was not a happy customer.
