220 Acres of parkland, with the Ward River at its centre. Plenty of history, as it formed a large part of the Molesworth Estate dating back several centuries. Great local park. Pitches on both for Soccer Football. The River Valley side has GAA pitches. Playgrounds down in the valley, on the Brackenstown / Manor side and (I think) on the Rivervalley side too. Outdoor exercise equipment as well. Nice remote walk in the western part. I was at the park on Tuesday and I was with my puppy in the dog area but then a guy arrived with 2 dogs, one was about the size of a horse.
