Wouldnt call Scottys a regular place I would visit, but everytime I do visit,I wonder why its not. There really is little , if anything to fault with this joint. I think the location is the main reason I simply forget to go there. Anyways....foodage. unreal. Arrived without a reservation and with a starved 3 year old , this was in no way a problem for the lady at the door who greeted us. She let us know we had until 6 to finish (this was ample time as we arrived at 5) this was all down to the new Covid Protocols. Crayons and colours for the little one which she could bring home :) she had a cheese burger and twisty fries, and there was no difference in the patties, the kids get the same high quality mouth watering burgers that the adults do. The twisty fries were a big hit too, changing up the regular old chips and the portion size, was more than adequate. For myself I got the cheese burger and cheese fries and my god was the burger good, actually good is an understatement, it was saaaavage. Now , if I'm to be huuuuglely critical and if i had to pick out something i didnt like, it would be the bun. While the bun i got was actually flawless, a beautiful brown bun and soooooo fresh, i would have preferred a typical brioche or simple white bun, but again, this is me being needlessly picky. If I got the exact same burger again I would be just as happy. Overall, brilliant experience as always, fantastic staff and chef and the waiting staff are fantastic too. Never too far from you if you need something, but not on top of you either. Very family friendly , especially with the little ones, and considering the ingredients used and the quality the food is more than well priced. Highly recommend and will definately go again ( when I think of it) and you...

Experience was a delight from start to finish, found through a quick Google search today having never heard of it before said we'd give it a chance..
Pulled in and just when I was going to get out to go up for a menu, an absolutely lovely lady, Jenny, landed out with one to us.. the menu is huge, take 10mins to read through it if you haven't visited before..
We got wings (sticky BBQ for the win), potatoe skins and tenders in a meal deal thing along with a side of chips between us.. could not fault anything in any way shape or form it was all delectable.. the portions were huge and the only downside was we were too stuffed to finish it all..
Very reasonably priced as well, think it came to about 26 or 27 euro including drinks.. when 2 adults can go out and be fed to the point where they don't have to eat for the rest of the day for less than 30 quid, that is as good as it gets in my book..
As an added bonus we got 10% off for ordering directly through them and this is really something to bear in mind when ordering from any restaurant really, don't use just eat!! Just eat takes 14% of the price of the order from that restaurant which is borderline criminal so please, and again this goes for any restaurant, don't be a lazy f**r and pick up the phone and either ring them or walk in!
A major thank you to Jenny who served us, you are an absolute pleasure and delivered an absolute gold standard of customer service along with well priced quality tasty food 👌
Absolutely...
Read moreI recently visited Scotty's and felt compelled to share my experience due to how disappointing it was. While the service was truly excellent – the staff were friendly and attentive – the food itself was, unfortunately, a letdown given the price.
Firstly, the cost was surprisingly high. We ordered two burgers, two milkshakes, a Coke, a Fanta, and a kids’ hot dog meal, which all came to a whopping €69. I wouldn’t mind paying a premium for great food, but this was simply not worth it. For example, charging €4 extra for a small sprinkle of grated cheese and bacon on the fries felt excessive. I was also shocked to see the milkshakes priced at €7 each, which seemed steep for a basic shake.
The burgers were mediocre – not terrible, but nothing to justify the price. The fries have also changed since I was last there and, sadly, the new version didn’t impress. While I didn’t voice my concerns in person, I left feeling genuinely upset by the experience.
Overall, while the service was excellent, the food quality and value were lacking. I really hope Scotty’s reconsiders its pricing or improves the quality to match, as this experience didn’t live up...
