Trappers Inn & Jackson's Restaurant — Restaurant in Galway

Was turned out of last restaurant as they were all booked, so went to Trappers and it seemed empty altogether so a promising chance for a solo diner for a quick meal.

This time I noticed in the main lounge although empty and about 10 spare tables, they all had a reservation sign and was told although booked for a big party there was another dining room to the side.

The second man in the bar quickly asked was I staying long, and as it was a quick meal he mentioned I could have any table although reserved, the party was not due in till 7.30pm and I got promptly accommodated at a handy table no fuss, with a swift pint on the table in seconds.

All staff were excellent, attentive and good mannered, 10/10 there. Only menu was on the chalk board no separate menus, and I was half guessing what some of the main entries were composed of but got a rough idea and ordered.

Was wedding dress shopping in galway yesterday and after my fitting we decided to go for lunch in the trappers inn and we were so happy that we had,i got the ciabbata steak sandwich and it was accompanied with chips and salad andpeppercorn sauce and it was amazing and great value for money we paid,my friens got the chicken and pasta salad and the portions were huge,we were really impressed and staff were so friendly and helpfull especially one staff member inparticular who was assigned to our table pity we didnt ge hes name but if you read this thanks a mill for your friedliness nothing was too much trouble,definetly recommend if your starving and looking for great food and very friendly staff and surroundings defo go to trappers you wont be...

Had a beautiful dinner here last. Week rice and chiken was very pleased with the dish and what was so lovely about eating in there was the amount of times staff came down to our table asking is everything OK do u need anything else which often does happen your missing something u need knifes forks salt e c t they also came down again asking if we'd like to order coffee tea or anything which is really good sometimes u could be in a restaurant waiting half hour for someone to notice your finished your dinner that's real customer service from trappers in tuam road Galway thank u for...
