McCarthys Bar — Restaurant in Kenmare Municipal District

Best pub in Dingle! Has a small area out front when you first walk in with a fantastic bar, and other separate rooms inside. Had a nice chat with the owner, a young man who had just reopened the old place. Then a fella from Cork sat down, who talked about how great Beamish was, but it wasn't served in Dingle! No one else at the bar agreed that Beamish was great, but Cork is proud of it. Haha..... Stop in if you get a chance....

Enjoyed libations at McCarthy's for a couple of nights in mid-September. (Only had drinks, no food.) Bartender Matthew was friendly and attentive. Our party of four enjoyed our drinks, pints, and conversations with Matthew so much I gave him a brand new Masters 2023 golf hat...
