Let me start with the staff here was very nice and the service was quite decent, but that’s about the end of anything good here. This place would be shut down by any American Heath dept on the spot. While waiting for our pizza we watched a spider crawl across the table next to us and the waiter tried to save it and take it outside instead of killing it and cleaning the table on the spot. Second I found a nice long 4-5 inch hair under the cheese on my pizza. Now let’s talk about the food, honestly I’d rather eat a Tostitos frozen pizza from the store. The crust had zero flavor and was paper thin and crunchy like stale cardboard. The sauce couldn’t be more basic as was the cheese. The garlic bread was a pitiful attempt at a classy twist, they simply sliced a baguette down the middle and slapped some butter and cheese in the middle. On the upside when we informed the waiter of the hair in the food, she comped the meal and we promptly left to find another...
Read moreComing from Redondo Beach, California, my family and I started craving some of the clean eats we know and love after three straight days of "pub grub." We took a chance on The Blue Zone at the recommendation of our B&B owner, and it did not disappoint. We had a couple salads, a pizza, and the potato wedges, all of which were delicious. The pizza was some of the best I have ever had, and the salads really were the best I've had. The owner, Patrick, is a real character, and the service was excellent. We were so pleased that at the end of our meal, we made a reservation and came back for dinner the very next day. A dinner at The Blue Zone is a must if you are staying in Dingle. Without doubt some of the best food in town, not to mention an excellent music playlist to...
Read moreWe are visiting dingle for a few days and went here for dinner with our 3 year old daughter in the early evening today - food was fine but overpriced and very limited choice. They're not exactly child friendly - my partner asked if they had a kids menu and the waitress smartly answered no and you should have let us know earlier ---- I did, when we booked! Also call me an idealist but when a 3 year old child says hello to you multiple times only looking for you to say hi back, you say hi or at least smile and acknowledge it --- the waitress completely ignored her and smiled over her head as if she wasn't there at all - the manners of those two staff in particular leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. Overall...
