Enjoyed a super family gathering touring Ireland in August. We spent five days in Dingle and booked a trip with Dingle Dolphin Boat Tours. I had done a similar trip many years ago to see Fungie, the famous Dingle Dolphin. Sadly he is not around any longer!
This time, it was something new for our grandchildren to experience. And what a great way to spend a few hours being in-touch with sea life. Our tour guide 'Tip Delaney' was the star of the day. Tip engaged with his tour party from boarding & throughout the journey, offering informed information, even for the youngest onboard to understand. We witnessed lots of Dolphins swimming around our boat.
The whole experience was simply magic & not just for the senior members, but our young grandchildren too, who embraced this exciting adventure.
I applaud Tip for his excellent customer service skills. His professionalism allows him to assess his audience, which only experience allows.
Well done...
Read moreWe did the Mini-Eco tour (2h boat trip around Dingle bay, 38€ p.p.) which was a perfect mix of the 1h cliff tour and the 3h wild life tour they offer because we both got information about the bay and its sights (like Esk Tower and the lighthouse) while going along the coastline, as well as made some stops in the open water where you could have a look for dolphins and puffins which we did really get to see! The guide we had also was a really nice and funny dude that made the ride enjoyable as well. For a nice activity to do with a baby or small child it was perfect. Also given that we had lovely weather. Definitely wouldn't want to do it when it rains! And if we hadn't had a baby with us, my partner and I probably would have done the more adventurous Sea Safari tour...
Read moreHad a fantastic experience with Dingle Dolphin Boat Tours. The team was very responsive to emails and clarified all my queries before I could make a booking online. Took a 2 hour Mini Eco Tour in the morning, wasn't foggy. The tour was enjoyable and well worth it. We were lucky enough to spot dozens of Dolphins, Minke Whales and few other species. They operated punctually. The girl at reception was kind. Skipper Andy and host Liam were engaging and helped us spot the dolphins and whales, also rode the boat for closer view. You can buy bottled water and some munches on board if needed. Sometimes it becomes a little tough to hear commentary at the rear due to engine operating sound and also the odour of fumes could make you...
