Reeves — Restaurant in South Dublin

THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER, an absolute disgrace to the so called management. The restaurant was busy with a confirmation when we arrived which was fine but once the group of about 25 adults & over 20 children finishing eating, the restaurant turned into what I can only describe as a circus with both teenagers & younger kids literally running up & down between the tables chasing & shouting at each other. Children are naturally noisy & boisterous when they get together but we werent in McDonalds and not one parent told their kids to sit down or be somewhat quiet & no respect was shown for us and other paying customers who had trouble having a conversation because of the volume of shouting.While the staff had trouble accessing the other tables to serve food, we were amazed that the manageress watched on & did absolutely nothing to address the situation. When we complained she simply agreed that the behaviour in a restaurant setting was out of order & blamed the parents for not keeping their children under contol. I blame the management for their inaction in allowing it to happen. I have no problem with children's parties but I certainly don't want to sit in the middle of one to eat my dinner & pay restaurant...

we hadn't been in.Reeves for quite a while so last night myself and my husband were there for a meal which was fab lovely to meet all they staff again and Racheal so we really enjoyed Service was outstanding we won't be leaving it as long again as we used to go regularly they only thing we missed out on was the nice little packet of chocolates which were been given out when Bill was been paid maybe we were not entitled to them even though we have been valid customers over the years anyway it was only a small thing but it would have been nice to be given them like everyone else and not left out but I suppose there is always a reason.!!! anyway we enjoyed our night kind regards mary and Aidan Hughes missed out on our wee chocolate treat while all other customers...

I had my daughters communion dinner at Reeves on 3rd May and what an absolutely fantastic restaurant! First off They opened an hour prior to their original opening hours for our family! The staff were so lovely and accommodating, the food was delicious and the choice of gluten free options was also amazing. They even had personalised menus on the tables with my daughters name on them which was a big hit with Ellie, also personalised her desert plate too. 16 people ate on the day and everyone of us throughly enjoyed our food. Ellie was also gifted with a communion goodie bag from the team at Reeves which was such a lovely touch. Would highly recommend Reeves and will most definitely will be returning!
