Evalynn Coffee — Restaurant in The Borough District of Drogheda

Local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities, and they often encounter unique challenges in the digital age. Online reviews can have a profound impact on their success, and it's crucial to remember the weight our words carry. A recent review posted on Evalynn's Google Reviews has left me somewhat perplexed. Someone purchased food from a local shop and proceeded to consume it on Evalynn's premises, only to complain because they were asked not to do so, resulting in a derisory review and a one-star rating? Really...?

I love the atmosphere and vibe at Evalynn; it's a bustling hub of activity, and the dynamic team run a fantastic business. All you need to do is observe how busy it is from opening to closing, every day of the week. Their coffee is exceptional, and they offer freshly baked pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. In fact, I've heard they employ a full-time baker.

Well done to the team, you deserve a pat...

Finally stopped in this past sunny Sunday, was amazed at the appearance of the shop, so clean & bright. Pastries looked amazing, young lady on the till was really knowledgeable about the beans they use, the roasting, Fairtrade, taste profile, etc. and recommended the Cinnamon Bun and Chocolate Brownie with Pastitsio, to go with our Latte & Americano, she hit the nail on the head, incredible! Inside & outside were completely full with a queue for take away coffee, Nail was on the coffee machine and every customer got his full attention while he was making every coffee to perfection. (I love the jig rinser next to the coffee machine to was the jug every time). Well worth the visit and it will be come the new local...

Nice but I had to refuse this one with a big doberman sharing my table, couldn't do that at all it was staring at me with beady eyes like if she left her lead down I would have to phone a dog catcher or defend myself walloping that wild animal i can still hear the sound of the bones in its neck as propelling my handbag was not enough to defend myself like i had to do in Ellenfield Park before when i was attacked by a wild animal not on a leash, self defence, I ended up in a park one time in West Dublin near a hotel I was staying in, and there was a dog walking track was nearby, I thought I was in hell on...
