Hate to say this but the food was under cooked and unclean and smelly chairs and menu card. Naan bread was very thick and with no taste. Seekh kebab was refrigerated and microwaved before serving them and one of them were under cooked. Pulau rice was very dry as it was cooked days earlier and refrigerated and microwaved before being served makes them dry and hard to chew. They seriously need to reconsider their cooking style rather than precooking and refrigerating the meat separately before making a curry of any type, this makes the chicken or lamb taste different and the sauce taste different. Many said the place was good but I had a very bad experience with dirty environment and under cooked food. If you look for peaceful and tasteful Indian food, then you need to avoid this place and visit Rasam or Kinara in Dublin. Worth every euro you pay.
And yeah this place is a bit expensive with 16-18 euros for just main course which I think is too expensive for the portion and taste.
Some people will hate me for being rude but it...
Read moreWe went for dinner tonight. Poppadom and dips were ok, onion Bhaji was in a weird consistency and too spicy for me. The flavour was good, but I couldn’t eat it as it was too spicy. After this we waited more than 30 minutes to get our mains.. My boyfriend got the pasanda with chicken. This was ok, always a bit too spicy but ok. I got the saag paneer and it was really disappointing. The flavour was ok but was really spicy, and the paneer did look like Philadelphia cheese. I asked the waiter more about this “paneer” and he told me that is soft paneer… I’m not Indian but I’m familiar with Indian cuisine and I never got in a restaurant this kind of soft paneer. I was definitely expecting the classic chewy cottage cheese… I think they also should ask if you would like the food spicy or not… Unfortunately I will...
Read moreI’m a big fan of Indian food and this was a real let-down. We dined in, and got the garlic chilli chicken, special curry and garlic naan bread between the two of us. The garlic chilli chicken is typically an all time favourite of mine, and I don’t know how they got it so wrong. It tasted like tomato sauce with chilli powder thrown into it. The special curry was ok. The garlic naan bread - I normally wolf these down but we left most of this behind - it was extremely dry and tasteless. The interior of the restaurant is in bad need of modernization too. Very overpriced also considering the quality of what is produced.
I won’t be rushing back nor would I recommend anyone to. Overall, we left very...
