Apache Pizza Kinsale — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Bandon-Kinsale

This Sunday afternoon I placed a large order, to be delivered to Oysterhaven, ten minutes out of Kinsale. I asked for their earliest delivery time, 16:00. They responded with a confirmation for a 16:00 delivery.

Nobody arrived at 16:00. At 16:15 I called them, and they said that they had only opened shop at 16:00. The website had made a mistake. Well okay then.

Then the guy assured me that the food would be there in about 25 minutes. However, some items were out of stock and had to be replaced. Well okay then.

We waited 25 minutes. Then we got a call from a different person. Said they did not deliver to Oysterhaven, for it was too remote, and asked me to collect the delivery instead. I could not, because we do not have a car with us. Thus, the order was cancelled. Well okay then.

So Apache Pizza: Does not take into account their shop opening times when presenting possible delivery times. Does not take into account their stock when presenting menu options on the website. Prepared an entire order before taking even a glance at the address. Wasted 60 euro worth of food because they would not drive ten minutes out of town.

We were a large Hen Party, staying in a house outside of Kinsale where Apache don't normally deliver to. I phoned to see if they would make an exception and nothing was a problem! The staff were so accommodating to us - the pizzas arrived bang on time, the delivery driver was so lovely, and we were given some free drinks which was a lovely surprise! Great service and...

Ordered food, was half an hour late and the owner blatantly lied to me over the phone saying my order was on the way. He had no idea who I was and claimed he only had one delivery. Didn’t know it took half an hour to deliver a pizza to someone 5 minutes down the road!
