High Tide Kinsale — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Bandon-Kinsale

We've been travelling around Ireland for the past two weeks and tonight we had the best meal/dining experience of our holiday. We arrived at High Tide for our 6pm reservation. We were greated by Natalie, who doubled as the hostess and server. She was absolutely lovely and contributed significantly to our fabulous experience. The restaurant is warm, quaint and eclectic. We shared the starter mussels and each had the Thai curry shrimp/prons. All of it was fantastic. We had a nice meal at Fishy Fishy last night, but this experience far exceeded that one. We went for an evening brithday celebration meal with a group of 17. Fionnula the owner was fantastic to deal with in booking the meal and choosing the set menu for the group. The staff were very friendly, informative and the service was very good. The food was delicious. We had a variety of starters, mains and deserts and all of us left extremely happy. Went for lunch yesterday with the family, small and cozy atmosphere, host is friendly and welcoming. Food is average, ordered some calamari, mussels and chowder.
