Jasmine Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Carlow

Jasmine has being a place where we go for famliy occasion's until today the jasmine be the last place I'll ever go to again we were over charged and when we ask about it we were this is what you paid and refused point plank to listen to reason we were over charged for a child charging us for adult and refused to chance this after counting the adults and children at the table and also charged us €7.50 for three dips which was a bit much.we had to wait one hour and thirty minutes for a starter to come out them another thirty minutes for all the starters to arrive at the tables and the same thing with main course twenty minutes from the first main hit the tables to the last.and to make things worse the food we received was terrible most dishes had cheap sliced chicken which you would get in a discount store and left a horrible after taste in your mouth and this is disappointing when you are looking forward to a nice meal we tried to resolve all issues with the manager but it few on deaf ears. With 18 people at dinner you'd think they would try and make your dining experience enjoyable. For me I will be avoiding the jasmine...

Just out of this overpriced place with rude staff. Been many tines and mever a bad experience until now Thursday 6th April 9.10pm. Very poor quality of food. €55 for yuk sung between two very poor portions. My chicken satay was okay. My wife's fried rice dish was dry and tasteless, looked like frozen peas and carrots thrown over boiled rice. She complained and the waitress told her they can't cook for individuals. It was very dry rice with a few peas and few carrots. Our water glasses were never topped up and the requested soy sauce came when we had finished the yuk sung. Keep your money in your pocket and go to the Royal Garden in Athy, polite staff,better food ,and better portions at a reasonable price. Will not go back,and very overpriced and too dark. No wonder this place is never busy. Put my wife off chinese food for life. Having visited many Chinese restaurants globally over 26 countries, this is the worst...

I rang for collection as always…. I always asked for the same thing 2 times of the maybe 10 times so that I got food from them and when I got home I realised that I got the wrong order paying for something more expensive…. Today I ordered and surprisingly this woman started to yelling at me because I did not understood what she was saying. (She was saying “10 minutes” after that she just yelled at me) I just cancel the order felt so bad and definitely not gonna go anymore in my life to this place… maybe is too hot today or she is underpaid but no way anyone deserves the kind of treatment that I got today NEVER AGAIN EVEN IF I WOULD BE...
