My visit to Dungarvan started with a lady in the carpark giving me her ticket that still had lots of time on it, then I wandered into the Square Grill where I was greeted by possibly the friendliest waitress on the planet. She dropped me down the paper for a read and helped another customer with her crossword. Have been here about 10 times in the last year and one of the reasons its not getting a stronger review is the organisation. If you're full because of covid restrictions take a name and contact number for a booking. Im not going to be standing out on the street again for 25 mins waiting for a table that I was told would be free in 10 mins.
I would like to see a local cafe like this serving more quality local produce as well. Not the generic wholesaler stuff. Will post pics next...

I was treated to breakfast for my birthday. One place we tried, as I'd never been there, wanted €12.50 (I think) and it didn't include tea/coffee. €10.50 at the Square Grill and orange juice, tea/coffee, toast, 2 sausages, 2 rashers, egg, puddings, beans and mushrooms!
