I am Italian, so I had quite high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately these expectations were not really met. The first thing I noticed was the menu riddled with spelling errors of Italian dishes, which shows a lack of attention to detail for a place claiming to prepare Italian food. With regards to the food, I got a pizza and a tiramisù for dessert, and while the pizza was ok (maybe a bit small for the price), the tiramisù was dry and made with the addition of brandy, which you would never see in a real Italian restaurant. The worst part of my experience in this restaurant was definitely the service. Once we arrived, our table was dirty and still with used cutlery from the previous customers. Then we had to wait almost 30 minutes to have our order taken and, once our food came, we had to request cutlery which was not on the table and also napkins, who the server did not think we would have needed. Finally, I asked for an americano coffe which never came even after requesting it twice, with the waiter telling me that she asked another person to make it, although I would imagine this to be something that all wait staff should be able to make. Overall the service was slow, disorganised, inattentive, and with many things to improve. Based on this experience, I would not return to this restaurant mainly because of the service and because the food was far from being genuine...
Read moreI recently visited Oristano with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.
Upon arrival, we were inexplicably ushered to an outdoor seating area that was not only old and neglected but also completely deserted. It was clear that this section had not been maintained or prepared for guests. The ambiance was far from welcoming, with worn-out furniture and an overall sense of abandonment.
To make matters worse, after being seated, we were left unattended for an unreasonably long period. Despite our visible presence and the restaurant not being busy, no staff member came to greet us, take our order, or even acknowledge our existence. It felt as though we had been completely forgotten.
After waiting far too long without any service, we decided to leave. The lack of attention and poor customer service was frustrating and unacceptable. It's disheartening to see such disregard for customers, and it's clear that this restaurant does not prioritize guest satisfaction.
Given this experience, I cannot recommend this to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. There are plenty of other establishments that value their customers and provide the service one would expect when dining out. We will certainly not...
Read moreJust happened to come come across Oristano on a family weekend in Dungarvin. A party of eight adults with no booking around 3.00pm which wasn't viewed as an inconvenience. Orders from our group ranged from pasta dishes, to pizzas, lasagna and side orders for each. The food was served promptly, it was super fresh ( we could see the pizzas being made) and the flavours were amazing. The pasta dishes were equally tasty and the lasagna which had been recommended was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and we didn't feel rushed despite our impromptu arrival. These guys are open relatively recently and with food like this they will surely be extending their restaurents space to include upstairs. The price was very good for the quality of the dishes we had. Will be recommending this to our friends who travel that direction and will return for sure. Well done to all in...
