The 2 Sisters Restaurant — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dungarvan — Lismore

We went to '2 Sisters' at Dungarvan Square for Breakfast on a Saturday morning at 11am. The Restaurant located on the first Floor was already very full, noisy and hot. We were happy to grab one of the 4 tables outside as the weather was good. The friendly staff took our order within minutes and the hot drinks arrived 10 Minutes later. Unfortunately, it was another 15 minutes before the food was served and by then the drinks were either gone or cold. We had 2 Full Breakfast 'The Big Sister' , French Benedict and Poachies and avo. The food was fresh, vibrant, hot and very tasty. For sure not just the usual stuff you would normally find in many places. It had all the Extras that keep your tastebuds happy and excited. The portion size was also decent. Overall a great experience and with under €50 for a Family of 4 pretty good value for money. We will be back to sample the lunch menu.

Update April 2023: We went back to the Restaurant for breakfast again. Food and Service still very satisfying. Probably the best breakfast place...

I visited this restaurant three times in the past week, having the same meal each time. First was in the afternoon at 2:30pm on Wednesday, food was fine, not much taste but cooked properly. Latte was lovely, I had two of those. Second time was the next day, Thursday, 1:30pm. The food on this day was lovely, flavorsome and cooked really well. Again a lovely latte. Third time was yesterday morning at 9:45am. The food, Eggs Avo was not nice at all. It was bland. The mushroom was cold. The latte was lovely. Great consistency with the coffee. However I have been sick since I came home after that meal. Stomach upset and other unpleasant effects. I am still sick this morning. My husband also feels unwell after his Big Sister fry up. We were surprised to have such a bad experience as the reviews online were good. We are not particularly fussy, we wouldn't have overly high standards obut some of the food was really bad mainly the vegan breakfast - toast stale and clearly out of the freezer, spinach and mushrooms tasted strongly of burn, some rotten bits in the spinach. It came with a little packet of Flora that was out of date by 6 weeks. Coffee was cold. The place also just felt dirty. The cutlery was sticky feeling and looked grubby.
