Apache Pizza Midleton — Restaurant in The Municipal District of East Cork

I'm normally a fan of Apache and the food is usually nice. I regularly order for collection and my order is always ready when I go to collect it. The few times I've ordered for delivery my order also arrived quickly. However, I placed an order for delivery tonight and it took over an hour for my delivery to arrive! When the food did eventually arrive, the pizzas were barely warm, the chips were cold, undercooked and the box was half empty. I ordered online and my order was coming up as delivered a good half an hour before I actually received it. This makes me think my order was delivered to the wrong address at first. This would explain why my food was so cold and the chips looked half eaten! I had to ring Apache to enquire about my order and I was told it left a good while ago so it should be with me any minute. Despite this, it was still another 15 minutes before my order arrived. The reason I'm thinking my order was delivered to the wrong address first is because this happened only a couple of weeks ago. An order from a local Chinese came to our house and my husband took it in thinking I had ordered food but I hadn't. We had to ring the Chinese to let them know we received an order we didn't make. They came and took the order and presumably brought it to the right house! This made me wonder how many times this happens with food deliveries. I don't like the idea of my food being in someone else's house first before being delivered to me! It'll make me think twice about ordering for delivery...

We ordered a Pizza a burger and wedges last Saturday night, January 18th. The only positive was the delivery driver and quick delivery time. The food was worse than a dogs dinner, the Burger was burnt to crisp like it had been taken to hell with the devil and back. Disgusting and not edible, I genuinely wouldn't and didn't feed it to my dogs. The pizza was slightly better but that is not saying much. It was also burnt on the underside it might have dodged the trip to hell the burger enjoyed but it was definitely overcooked. I am still waiting on the wedges. Very disappointing and to be honest I have ordered from here in the past and it has been okay. But seriously how can you even think to send food out like that, It smacks of carelessness and awful customer service. I will not order from here again. 30 euro for the...

Positives: Food Quality compared to low pricing is decent. Delivery staff are always friendly.

Negatives: You could put in an normal order for "asap" delivery, and it'll often arrive late. However, you could put an order in at 6pm for an 8pm delivery, and it'll land 40mins early. Quite poor at time management, and often the pizza lands cold.

Have had to call them twice over the last few months with issues, and management dont really offer much in the way of an apology. We order here regularly as we get 25% off with a Perks card discount, but definitly wouldnt order as often if it wasnt so cheap with my discount.

Will be ordering again but will keep expectations low when it comes to delivery times.
