Roastie Grill — Restaurant in The Municipal District of East Cork

How we ended up here is a bit of a story! We had cinema tickets booked in Youghal and wanted to grab lunch beforehand but due to Iron Man we discovered the roads into Youghal were closed. We booked cinema tickets for Midleton and we were starving by the time we were en route so we quickly Googled restaurants in Midleton with vegan options. Roastie seemed like our only choice so we headed straight for it. When we got there it was very busy and we didn't have a booking but the staff were happy to accommodate us.

Let me tell you, we are SO happy we didn't go to Youghal! These were the best burgers we've ever had. Really good value too as you get two sides with your burger. I was only upset I couldn't finish everything because I had to save room for cinema snacks! The staff were so friendly and attentive, but not over asking you if everything is ok while your mouth is full. Lovely atmosphere, bright and airy, and beautiful hanging ferns!

We honestly haven't been able to stop thinking about the burgers and can't wait to go back. Thanks for making us customers for life, Roastie and we look forward to visiting...

Popped in here for the first time the other week,we didn't have a booking but the owner had us seated regardless.When I first looked at the menu I thought "oh this seems pricey" But then I saw the quality of the food/the portion sizes and from the first bite I had and with every bite I had until I finished I thought WOW this food is amazing and definitely value for money. I was never so happy to be seated like that because after eating there,it would have been a crying shame to have missed out.i honestly sat there watching all the different dishes coming out to the tables around us thinking "will I get that the next time" or "oh the food here is proper gourmet food". We've stayed at a few 5 star hotels recently and honestly their food wouldn't come close to what we got in this restaurant. Absolutely 100% a new favorite place.Will be back and absolutely would recommend. Yes you are correct It did say that the burger came with relish and barbecue sauce ..it did not however say it was going to be drenched on my burger .I was under the assumption it was going to be on the side which is what a normal restaurant would do .I also don’t agree with your service charge if your boss can’t afford to pay for your service why are you squeezing it out of your customers? I recently went back because it was a family meal my family enjoyed the food I don’t think I’m overly picky when it comes to restaurant food but I really didn’t think it was very special..I would say over priced and average to be honest. Still one star and I don’t care about your feelings ..I was asked to leave a review and I did and it’s my review and it’s my opinion. Get over it. And stop charging people a service charge. Your employer should be paying you ..not your customers ,we pay for a meal like every...
