Lovely Bar and setting, two fires and a long table for groups. The ambience in the evening is very cosy with lights lowered and alcohol fuel candles on the tables. There are two gas powered fires for those cold nights. A large heated outdoor area is provided with a television for sporting events. Regular live music from local talent and DJs at the weekend. Large selection of spirits available and a good selection of beers both draught, bottle and craft with a selection of cocktails at average prices. The only downside of this bar is the availability of seating at busy times. The bar seems designed around a standing experience for patrons at the weekend so you need to be early, and if you do get a seat there's always people hovering around you waiting for you to leave. Been there a few time .the plus First it's very relaxing beautifully presented and the beer is good if a little pricy The bad stuff. I visit there tonight Wednesday the 30th .I waited to be served and the bar man completely ignored me and served someone else. When I challenged him on it he just waved me away dismissively, normally I would shrug it off putting it down to his lack of manners, but tonight I walked out.

This has not been the first time . On another occasion the bar was quiet I waited to be served but the barman was more interested in talking with another customer more than likely a friend. There seems to be a lack of management as the bar staff are not the best. I guess people reading this will put it down to some grumpy guy but this is not the case .I am most tolerant but this has left a bad...

We had such a wonderful experience at Coppinger’s in Midleton, Cork! I want to especially mention Orielle, who was absolutely amazing. I’ve been living in Ireland for about five years, and she is honestly the best staff member I’ve come across anywhere in Ireland

She was so friendly, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home more like family than customers. She kept chatting with us, made us wonderful drinks, and was even incredibly kind to my five-year-old, taking the time to make her a special little drink and speak to her so warmly.
