Nice setting, friendly-ish staff but terrible portion size. I had chicken and mushroom vol u vent which unfortunately had no chicken in it. The food itself was tasty but it was still very disappointing to say the least. Also one other point, the toilet had no toilet paper which is pretty basic stuff. At €34 for a lunch very expensive considering you can buy a few chicken breasts for €5 this surely wouldn't be hard to rectify. In pointing this out to the staff regarding the portion size, they simply said sorry about that. Wont be returning and honestly wouldn't recommend. I will also say again that this was pointed out to your staff and they did say sorry but it wasn't much of a consolation at that stage. I have never had to look for an extra portion or extra chicken before im any other restaurant but if your portions were adequate to begin with this wouldn't have been an issue. There was about 4 little chunks of chicken in each of lunches and the only reason i remember is that i have to scavenge to try and find it. Read moreLady behind the deli counter was so friendly and made sure i was looked after. Got to the queue to pay and grab a coffee and the service was so slow, I understand it’s Christmas and it’s busy but there was 2 people behind the counter trying to juggle everything and make sure everyone was looked after. The younger girl making the coffees was very friendly and had good customer service but the other lady behind the counter i cannot say the same for. Just seemed that she didn’t want to be there and that we were burdening her day. I understand hospitality is a tough job as i work behind a bar but never would i act like that serving customers. Paid for my food and coffee and went to grab a fork to which there was none. Completely understand people run out of things but when i went back in to grab a disposable fork and a metal one for the old man standing beside me i was told there was none, not even a metal one for the old man who was standing with his dinner. Just not something you want to be waiting for after standing in queue for 10 mins waiting to pay for a hot dinner. I can't say enough to recommend the service, quality of food and efficient manner with which Jenny dealt with us. Jenny listened to exactly what was required and put together exactly the menu to cater for the people in attendance...it was clean plates all round and everyone complimented the food which enhanced their experience here on the day..
