Supermac's & Papa John's Tullamore — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Tullamore

Pat Mc Donagh should be ashamed of this place. I enjoy supermacs as a treat from time to time but the tullamore outfit is bad really bad. I queued at the counter waiting to order, I watch one staff member making a pizza without gloves on after handling numerous different things. The phone rang off the wall, no one answered. There was NO food in the hot pass ready but a bucket of chicken sat in the oven which must have been there at least an hour. I watched two different staff trying to cook the same portion of onion rings while the queue grew . One member of staff started to take my ordered and then walked away to look after something else and didn't come back. I was so disgusted at what arrived to my table, it was the chicken that had been in the bucket for an hour. The skin shattered of the chicken piece and I had to tear away the chicken directly under the skin because this part wasn't edible. I decided to bring it back to the counter and explained my dissatisfaction to which I was met with "fine" not sorry or anything. The same staff member went over and threw my chicken piece (only one- she let the other in the box) in the bin and took another piece out from the same bucket as from which the first piece came. .!!!! At €8.30 (which I think is an outrageous price anyway )I think is should come as standard that your actually able to eat the food you paid for. I left the food, I wasn't eating it and didn't bother complaining about it because the person who I believe to be the manager making the pizza had got out with the delivery bag and food. I had to ask for the code to the disabled toilet to use before I left because the regular toilet upstairs were blocked by a stack of furniture so that no one would use the upstairs tables. This...

I like Supermacs. It's a nice treat for my family, all 6 of us. My younger kids like the toys/gifts with the kids' meals. My older teens like the food too... when this establishment manages to get it right or remember to put in the food that has been ordered.

There should at the very least be a consistent standard of service but here there isn't - at least not with the takeaway/delivery service. On numerous occasions we have had incorrect orders delivered to the disappointment of my kids, and many times it has been late. So, you order a burger without the toppings, but then it comes with everything, even after leaving an extra note stating "no toppings on both burgers"? Anywa, the website affords these choices, I'm not sure why this happens. When a meal doesn't include a drink or fries - where is the confusion... it's a meal. This just happened. Today. 45mins late - if you cannot commit to a time then don't commit to time - I'd rather the website state it will be 1.5 hours than be left sitting with a 4 year old in your ear "where is the food where is the food". I love my 4 year old btw.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Visited Friday evening with other family members whilst ordering 1 family member went to use the toilet facilities, and within a couple of seconds we got approach by the most abrupt and aggressive small blonde girl shouting in his face. It was the most embarrassing moment while the whole shop stopped in shock some customers left out of disgust from the customer service.

1, while a food establishment is in working hours and serving food and beverages it is illegal to deny someone the human right to go to the toilet.

2, we have advised everyone we know not to go here unless they want to be verbally abused by this staff member. The only thing I can say is the lady on the door was Notting but lovely and nice and apologised for the abrupt service we got.

I'd advise everyone to AVOID this place expecially when this small blonde night time worker is on shift.

Trying to support businesses after covid and you get a basic human right denied and screamed and...
