Quinlan's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Tralee Municipal District

Had lunch here today but unfortunately had to send back the seabass. It was overcooked and had the rubbery skin of the fish put onto the side of the plate. The chef came back out with it and told us that was how seabass is cooked!! My husband is a chef and that seabass should never have left the pass. The fish was put onto a pan that wasn't hot enough hence the rubbery skin, it should be nice and crispy. The chef was also poking the fish with his finger and asked if we where were going to eat it or not as if we'd take it then. Just not good enough, the two stars are for the chips but thats about...

Communication is a big problem. I phoned ahead to check if a particular product was available. English clearly wasn’t the first language of the guy I spoke with. I explained three times, as clearly as possible what I was looking for. He put me on hold twice to check and confirmed the product was there and I could come and collect. All that was fine, I’ve no problem with any of the above. However, when I arrived I was handed the total opposite of what I had asked for. Left without goods, wasting an hour on a round trip. So...

Had terrible experience with you on my first visit. A year later i though ill give this place another go - lady who served me was extremely arrogant and rude, could not be less interested in a customer. I asked if sides such as sauce, peas and chips were included in the order i was placing and she advised that they are included. Took the order home - soggy fish, soggy chips and no sides. Dumped all food as it was disgusting to look at. Will not return or recommend. Shops location and setup is great but i would not buy...
