Mirch Masala Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in West Cork

“Staff training required” ,we were presented with popadoms and two sauces , the popadoms had clearly been left out for some time as they were soft . We specified that we would like the kids food sent out with the starter for the adults , everything arrived at once , although the portions were very generous the chicken pieces at times were a little over cooked . The Naan bread was also a little bland . The lady who served our table was very nice and pleasant. I would suggest that the the waiters dress in proper attire rather than chunky white trainers and tracksuit bottoms, I would also suggest that they understand their menu and not have to ask the kitchen for any little question asked and also learn about their wine menu and how to open a bottle of wine and finally clear the table rather than wait until we had left . Had a lovely after-cinema meal on Sunday with family of four adults. We were happy to find it open because a lot of places close down after Sunday lunch. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, there’s a huge menu including plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Two plates of poppadums with dips were brought to nibble while we made our choices for main courses. Having chosen, we were agreeably surprised by the quick service and we really enjoyed our meal. My only suggestion would be to get some illustrations on the menu, or even upon the walls (which were certainly rather bare, probably because they only opened in June). Those of us who don’t often eat Indian food need a bit of information to help us decide. Just responding to the comments from owner: I didn’t order over phone and it was placed in your website! Even though I stay 4.8kms from your restaurant, there was a delivery fee of 5 euros incurred in my bill! My order no was 455! My intention is not to spoil your business, I just shared my views. Hope customer has the right to post their views on the product. I just said there was hair in food. I didn’t take photos at that time as I don’t had intention to post reviews. Since I got an email from Vicky to post reviews I just said my thought! If there was no email from your restaurant, I don’t even minded to post this review as I had many disappointments in some other restaurants which I didn’t even post any reviews!
