We were staying close by and a Google search produced what looked to be a great fit for the kind of drinks/food we enjoy so stopped by for a quick drink to check out the menu. It turns out that due to a change of ownership the reviews on Google are no longer related to this establishment and in fairness to new owners they have tried to point this out. No food, other than toasties, are on offer and it felt like a sports bar with 7 TV screens showing sports and a gambling machine in the corner. This is no longer the restaurant many of the headline reviews allude to. Google you should reset reviews with change of ownership & concept so we all know what to expect.

Although the brunch was fairly well displayed and prepared, the contents were slightly over spiced (peppery) and overwhelmed what possibly could of been a very nice meal. The Coffee was excellent and service a bit slow in terms of basics like cutlery , even if the serving staff were not very busy, The Kitchen could of been going through teething problems with a morning shift which is understandable.

1. The setting was nice and tidy and had a good ambience 2. Their service was brilliant - attentive and prompt. They were also very accommodating when I called to say I would be late 3. Food was absolutely phenomenal. The small plates are indeed small but were very good quality. I definitely felt I got what I paid for. The star of the show was the pigs cheek which was amazing.

This was my third visit to Tacoma whilst visiting from the UK and I can honestly say it didn’t let me down. As before the food and service was absolutely first class, the staff always so attentive and the it has such a lovely ambience . We tried several dishes and each one was presented beautifully and the flavours were awesome, I have eaten in some very very good restaurants in the UK but this surpassed all of them. The chefs do an amazing job in bringing together so many elements to create dishes that are imaginative and totally delicious. The lemon meringue was to die for ! Will definitely be back the next time I am visiting. If you want to eat in a beautiful restaurant, serving top quality food at affordable prices this is definitely the...

We were looked after tremendously by the gentlemen serving us, and the drinks and food were really good. A small niggle is the portion sizes, for the amount you pay you expect to have a little more on your plate- not me as I had the steak which was perfectly cooked, a great portion- however the onion rings were… dainty? Looked fab, but I love onion rings and would have loved a few more than 2- or a bit chunkier. My mum and my partner had the wild mushroom ravioli which they enjoyed but it took him about 3 spoonfuls to finish. I loooved my brownie and ice cream. The cocktails were fab. The setting of the place is lovely and so tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our evening overall 😊....

We came across the restaurant by chance and were able to get a table without a reservation. Seeing how busy it got we were very fortunate. It is run by a young and enthusiastic team who blend friendliness with excellent customer service. The small plates menu was absolutely delicious and the order of plates (whether by chance or design) was excellent. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted superb. If I was ultra picky, on the duck dish the confit was super but the piece of duck meat was a little over cooked. But that did not detracct from a wonderful dining experience. We had some wonderful meals in Douglas and Tacoma was right up there with the best. Highly...
