Firstly I visited this place a few days ago and it was lovely. However today, 5 August 3035 I visited withy husband and Granddaughter we decided to have a scone and I was genuinely surprised to be told I had to pay for butter separately even though Iwe were eating in. I told the young lady this was a first and I'd never paid anywhere else for butter, jam and cream, yes, but never the butter that goes with eating a scone indoors. She replied curtly telling me "there's a first time for everything" to which I told her I'd have to pay for it then. When I said I'd take the food to my table, she very sarcastically told me she bring it because she had to get the butter! The ladies behind me both said how rude she was, one even saying "well that told us"!! I visit Noa's Bakehouse every time we come to Isle of Man but won't be doing so again, even though the food is good and fresh and I will let others know about the service I received. Having travelled extensively in the UK and abroad I've never been spoken to as...

We were charged £32 for 2 veggie breakfasts. I asked on behalf of my partner if I could swap her scrambled eggs for potatoes , but I was ignored and they just charged for the potatoes as an additional. We also asked to add halloumi to one of the breakfasts and the gentleman cooking abruptly snapped and said " it's not like I'm already plating up" in a rude manor. I had paid £2 for each extra, the young girl was then sent to the table to demand more money, £4 for halloumi strips. That was the final straw and we asked for a refund which was incorrectly calculated, on her phone.
The breakfast looked mediocre. Horrible experience and customer service on our holiday. Do not recommend this place, and there's plenty of nicer places in the area anyway. Eatery for example is spot on service, food...
Read moreCalled into Noa at lunch for a takeaway sandwich. The menu generically describes as "meat". I asked what the "meat" was.. I was told "Ham". So I opted for that... I was told there would be a wait of 10mins or so... which was OK. So my sandwich arrived.. And I took it away.. When I came to eat it later.. I found the "meat" consisted of two slices of cold bacon. Not very good at all.. The only reason I put a rating of 2 was that the staff are friendly and helpful. Too much style over substance.. This place needs to get back to basics of value and quality. The prices are not cheap and we found far better quality elsewhere on the Isle. Maybe the kitchen was having an 'off' day as I looked like they were struggling to get food out... Hence the wait and the use of left over bacon...
