Mojo's Fish & Chip Shop — Restaurant in Douglas

I have used Mojo's in shop and delivery both first rate the quality of every thing they serve is first class Matt his wife and staff one tight team friendly chatty caring ive been there many a time and tied my lovely dog missey outside to wait for me not amused she let us know come on what about me it worked everytime so cheeky madam started barking when i was tying her up cos Matt would always give her a sausage she had to walk it off mind but the menue is great gud variety of various products and side dishes to suit all even though potato scallops were not on Matts menue one of his regular customers Colin who worked next door at the spar shop asked him for sum he obliged and needless to say Colin told me as i was a regular at the spar shop and ive asked Matt many times for them i love them i like a buisness that puts its customers first and gives them a little gift for there pet top shop top guy and family love them all must...

Edit: Modifing my review comments, as the restaurant cared enough to respond to a negative review, which suggests they genuinely value customer feedback and trying to improve This review is completely based on my one time experience and it might mean they had a one off bad day or the taste of their food did not appeal to me and not necessarily bad. On the day I tried their food, the oil smelt odd and was not appealing to me or my friends. We went in on a Sunday evening and tried the scampi, chicken and cod with chips and they all had the same oil taste, and the scampi had a very fishy taste and smell. I cannot talk for others, but based on my personal experience, the food still gets a 1 star. The staff at till and server were really good, fast and friendly though and they get a 5 star...

Considering all I ordered was 2 portions of large chips I figured that it was an easy order to complete. I never have been served chips as disgusting as these. They would have compared to a frozen chip that had been cooked, not used and cooked again and then left lying in a hot holding for too long. Would have brought them back only for we'd taken out to a few minutes walk up the promenade and didn't wana walk back. Service was quick and server was polite.
