Caffe Naima — Restaurant in Haifa

I don’t often change a review, and definitely not for the worst, or for a place for which I’m a regular, but I put the line at poor service.

It’s one thing to get my name wrong, it’s another when the barista mocks me for asking whether it was my name they mispronounced. And then when confronted with it they reluctantly tell me that if I have a problem I can go on Instagram. Most of the people here are great at their work and provide good service, but the phrase is “a few bad apples spoil the barrel) for a reason.

Out of politeness to my own integrity I’ll mention that the coffee is consistently good. I just prefer to take my business elsewhere if the alternative is getting snipes from random employees who woke up on the wrong side of bed or should be working in the backroom rather than interacting with customers.

That’s all it takes to make a regular regret they spent the past year coming here...

I'm very happy that Naima exists and I am extremely impressed with their quality of coffee, roasts as well as the friendly service.

The staff really cares about you as a customer. For example , I once ordered both a cortado and a cappuccino (it's just how I roll) and the barista was kind enough to keep an eye out for me until I finished my cortado before making my cappuccino and bringing it to me. I really appreciated that!

Also I think they have some of the best beans around and for the best price. Their roasts are just as good (maybe even better) as Nahat, House of Coffee, and Caya and are between 15-20 NIS cheaper.

It can be a bit tricky to find parking because of their location but it's worth finding a spot and walking to them if you have to. Very enjoyable cafe experience!...

This is the best quality coffee I could find in Haifa. They roast their own beans, which you can also buy for home. I visited this place 2 days in a row, because the baristas were very welcoming. They have both amazing filter drinks - we ordered V60 on ice. Kenya is aamaaazing! The guy made it perfectly. (Come more than hour before closing, as in the last hour they don't make V60) Their espresso drinks also are of the best quality. Cortado should be your choice if you are in search for stronger coffee. If you are lactose intolerant or vegan, you can have it with oat milk.☕
