Rive West — Restaurant in Haifa

I came after I heard a lot of rumors about that place and I got to say it exceeded my expectations. Let's start with the food. All the dishes are well planned and balanced just enough for you to enjoy every bite as its your first. All the ingredients are fresh and homemade. The drinks, oh the drinks.. Perfectly balanced and made by the professional bartenders, and don't you worry, if you don't know which one is suits for you just ask. Of course they have a perfectly diverse wine menu and well chose. And finally the service. The entire staff is welcoming and really friendly, making you feel like you're eating among friends. Mixed feelings. Cocktails good, price on a par with Tel Aviv upmarket. Food tasty, portions small tasting plates. Salad with pecan and dates was fresh but overpriced for what it was. Service friendly but not very professional. We had one diner who has gluten sensitivity. Our responsibility was that we forget to check about allergens in side vegetables till the steak came to the table. We asked one of staff for vegetables instead of the friend potato . He refused saying that was the way the dish was served. We didn’t argue but I think for those prices offering another few pieces of steamed broccoli on a plate is not a big deal. Beautiful and cozy bar in downtown Haifa. The space is well decorated and the atmosphere together with the music make it perfect. The food was delicious ! I try the fish ceviche and it was so tasty with fresh ingredients later on I order the beef carpaccio that also was fantastic. The staff was very professional, the bar man and the waiter. I noticed that the toilet super clean and this is super important ! Last but not least Roxane, one of the owners of the bar. such a pleasant and welcoming person that bring so much happiness and good vibes.
