Great food, delicious coffee, and a very reasonable price all delivered in a beautiful location. The decor is some of the best I've seen for a Cafe as it is mainly outside seating in a nice little private area that's tucked away from other restaurants and it feels like you're sitting in a garden. There's tons of charming little decorations and cute little signs on the walls. Their coffee is an especial standout, it is absolutely delicious and some of the best I've had in Haifa. Their food is very fresh, healthy, and most importantly really tasty. They also have quit a lot of options on the menu ranging from delicious salads and sandwiches to shakshuka and also some amazing pastries if you're in the mood for something sweet.
I would love to give this place a full 5 stars but I do have just a couple gripes. The series is REALLY slow, and i mean slow even compared to most Israeli cafes which I typically don't mind but here even when there's not a lot of customers it takes super long even for just a coffee. So definitely not a place to go if you don't want to sit for more than an hour. Additionally, be aware that this place can get quite busy and does not always have seating nor does it have any nice place to sit and wait if the restaurant is full and has a waiting time. And lastly, I've seen how the owner of the Cafe has responded to negative reviews and it is astonishing that the owner chooses to react so unprofessionally about it. Never really a good thing to see, but alas this is a great Cafe with a truly special atmosphere and excellent food and coffee. As long as you're not in a pinch for time, then i highly...
Read moreIt's sad because you can tell that someone cares about the quality of the food at this place. It would be nice if they also cared about the customers. I'm not some spoiled American. I've lived here for 20 years and I'm used to Israeli service. This was, with no exaggeration, one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my 2 decades in this country.
After 20 minutes without being helped or even given a menu, I started searching for another cafe nearby when the waiter finally gave us a menu. He warned my wife that he probably didn't have what she ordered. In the end, he didn't have what I ordered. It took a total of 40 minutes to get a pastry and coffee. I had a train to catch, so I eventually gave up on the waiter and went to the front to pay so I could finally escape.
Then they started asking if I had my temperature checked when I came in. They didn't even realize I had been sitting there for 40 minutes. They thought we just walked in. I said "I'm trying to pay and get out, not in." The manager ( or the guy who seemed to be in charge) made some asinine remark and finally rang me up.
The pastry was decent though. If you want the pastry, just get it to go. Unless of course, you enjoy being ignored...

My date said they have great food, so i agreed to go.
Firstly, we asked where we can smoke and as per the direction we found a nice spot (too much sun for me, but my date liked it there). Then, we were told that we are not allowed to smoke in that area, so we were forced to move, not before we ordered. My date ordered espresso and juice and i ordered lemonade and asked for ice. We also ordered food- none of what we ordered (shakshuka, omlet, avokado salad and fetta) is worth mentioning. It wasn't bad- it wasn't good. 15-20 minutes after we moved, we had to call the waitress, to see if they forgot our drinks (we specifically asked for them first, as well as for water, which never arrived). The answer was that "yes, it is still in process, as it all comes together". The food arrived, the drinks didn't. Then, they provided the lemonade- small- although i ordered a big one. They replaced for a big one and it came without ice.
The food was not the best- the service was terrible.
Luckily, my super duper great date gave them a nice tip, although my tip to this place is- Replace all the staff. Smile is still legal in...
