Isabella Bar — Restaurant in Haifa

Having many Italian options in Haifa, we chose a “bistro” restaurant to have lunch and even though we couldn’t Enjoy, is good to share the “disgusting” service of either the supervisor/owner of the place. We made a reservation for 2 at 15:30 Outside and it seems that for the person over the phone, he neglected to inform that there was an event of 40 people in the place. We arrive 5 minutes before and we encountered this huge group of people, without masks of course, and not even our table was ready. I personally don’t feel comfortable in confined places when people aren’t using the basic hygiene conditions like masks, therefore we left after having the amazing and respectful answer of this guy: “There are not 40 people here only 30”. Is just ridiculous that a restaurant it’s called bistro when the service is even worst than a dinner in the middle of a highway. Clearly...

Tasty dishes, menu is not too long but with really good variety (everyone was able to find a dish s/he liked). Prices are average for Haifa restaurant. Wine menu didn't offer too much choice, but eventually I was able to find what I was looking for (gewurztraminer). ביקרנו ב14.2.19 יום האהבה, לאחר חיפוש חניה שערך כרבע שעה, נכנסנו למסעדה. המקום נראה מהמם וקיים חייץ טבעי ולא מורגש בין העיר לירוק של כפר, כשנכנסים העיר נשארת מאחור. המקום נראה טוב. פגשנו את פנייני בכניסה לא פחות מ-3 מלצרים ובעל המקום/מנהל משמרת. מפה החוויה חוותה צניחה חופשית...

המלצריות ניכר שהעבודה חדשה להן והן לא בקיאות, לא בתפריט ולא דרך ההתנהלות של המסעדה. יחד עם זאת ניתן להבין אותן כאשר מנהל המשמרת גוער בהן בכל צעד, תעשי ככה, תעשי ככה, לרגע הרגשתי שחזרתי לתורנות מטבח בצבא, הכל בקולי קולות ובחלל הסועדים, וחבל!

המנות הראשונות וגם העיקריות נעדרות כל טעם. כך למשל, הקלאמרי.של הראשונה הגיע בציפוי טמפורה שאפילו לא קיבל קריספיות, והכל היה ספוג שמן, המזטים שהגיעו בראשונות היו פשוט מעוררת רחמים, סלטי תפוח אדמה, דג הרינג של סופר, פוקציה קרה וטבולה בשמן, פטריות שמפיון כנראה מקופסת שימורים. כל מה שהיה צריך להיות מוגש חם הוגש פושר/קר, ומלווה הערות/גערות מנהל המשמרת.

העיקריות היו דלוחות, חסרות טעם, המולים היו מולים קפואים של סופר שבושלו ייתר על המידה.

לאחר שבקשנו חשבון, תוך וויתור מנומס על הקינוח, הגיע קינוח בדמות 4 תותי שדה על חשבון הבית, כנראה לרגל יום האהבה, אבל גם בזה פישלו. תות אחד היה מלא חול שהתגלה מאוחר מידי, והתות השני היה בחלקו רקוב.
