Unfortunately not a good experience for people who have allergies. We've ordered a small RED wine, a bottle of water, two green salads, a lasagna and my special wish: the ravioli with basil - WITHOUT the tomato sauce. I asked if it was possible to have the dish without tomato sauce and get it with olive oil instead, and mentioned that I am allergic to tomatoes. The first waiter smiled and nodded. The drinks arrived: a WHITE wine and the water, then waiter 2 brought the lasagna and the ravioli WITH tomato sauce. Upon clarifying that I ordered without tomatoes, repeating I'm allergic I was rudely asked why I would order it, if it is a dish with tomatoes. He told me that I'd have to wait. Meanwhile the green lettuce salad arrived and my company finished her lasagna. She was not happy either, as her salad was full of hard parts and small black pieces (see photo). Finally I got my ravioli - without basil and cheese on top, just plain, rather cold and no olive oil - full price. But the worst part: the ravioli seemingly were just washed, as I've found a piece of tomato under the last ravioli!!! This is absolutely disrespectful and could be a severe health issue for people who are heavily allergic. The bread arrived after we finished the ravioli/lasagna. Coperta of 2€ PER PERSON is also quite rude for such a bad service. We will never go there again and I absolutely cannot recommend.

This rapidly became our go-to restaurant while in the area. So far, we've dined in and ordered take-out pizza. In the first instance, my spouse ordered the shrimp risotto and declared it fabulous; while I had a pasta with monkfish. We were quite pleased - and then we saw the pizza that other patrons had ordered. So, after a long day hiking the Path of the Gods we opted for take-out pizza. I had a spicy salami offering (Diablo) and my wife had a cheese pizza with lemon zest. Both were ah-maz-ing. Moreover, when I wandered in to order, the folks there said it would take five minutes ... and it was, maybe, seven minutes before I was strolling through the piazza on my way back to our rental suite.

Great food, uneven service The place is really nice — it has a cool vibe, cute and authentic Italian, even though there was no music. One server came and took our order, then right after, another guy came over and tried to take it again. We tried to let him know it was already done, but he just wouldn’t stop talking — seriously, he kept going and we couldn’t get a word in. The food, though, was excellent. The caprese salad was super fresh with great tomatoes, and the lasagna totally hit the spot. Pizzas are not available for lunch. Overall, it’s a solid spot for the food — just don’t go in expecting flawless service

Did not love my experience here. Was ignored for a few minutes by staff who saw my wife and I come in. Service was lacking for my table, where other tables got the star service.

I got the fresh bacon , sundried tomato and mozzarella pizza. The bacon was a little raw for my liking and overall not my favorite pizza I've had in Italy, but can chalk that up to preference. My wife got the vegetable soup, which was a bland medley of chopped vegetables that tasted like they were from a can. We didn't expect much from a vegetable soup, but it was pretty lackluster.

I ordered red wine, which got a pretty large pour. The server brought the house red. I was excited for this until my palate was assaulted with the cheapest wine I've had in 20 years. It tasted like a sangria box wine you would drink in college. I could not believe this was served in any restaurant, let alone one in Italy.

After being ignored by our server for 20 minutes to clear the table and finalize the dinner, I walked to the front where I was nodded over by a different employee to pay. They printed out our check, looked at it intently and rang up their charge on the credit card machine 10 euros higher than the printed bill. I questioned it, which was changed to the printed bill with no apology or mention of an accident.

All in all, I understand it is likely very frustrating to have to serve Americans and tourists, and this is not the only business in the area that has made me feel unwelcome. The disappointing food and effort put forth by the staff specifically to me made me feel the need to leave a review.

You may get a much better experience than I, they are capable of it. I saw many happy customers around me, but cannot say I was...

I felt cheated. We ordered the risotto with lemon and shrimp for 2. (There is a minimum requirement of 2.) The risotto came with no shrimp. So we politely asked them about it. They took it back and brought it --- with 2 tiny tiny tiny shrimp in each of our dishes.

We actually expected them to give us a generous quantity of shrimp for their egregious error but nope -- just 2 tiny shrimp! I don't know how they could serve that to us with a straight face.

They also didn't give us any bread. We are used to paying coperto in Italy but this service was so shockingly bad, I was taken aback they had the gall to add coperto when they hadn't provided any bread and they hadn't even given us the dish that we ordered for.

30 euros for an awful risotto.

Their loss. It's the only restaurant open in the area in this off-season month, and they could have easily made about 150 euros from us in the next couple days, but they lost it because of their slimy behavior.

I just had a look at tripadvisor for reviews and one reviewer had a similar problem -- he states in his review "we had to send the pasta back to the kitchen because it was virtually uncooked and when it was returned to us, we had to search for any evidence of seafood in the...
