Nice location, informal, appropriate for a mountain restaurant; not very comfortable. The service is characteristic (waiters in traditional dresses), kind but austere. Food is just average: we tried gnocchi di polenta, brasato and polenta with mixed cheese; nothing was outstanding. Excellent lunch experience here, we came as was recommended by one of the staff at our hotel. The locals refer to this place as "Unione Alagnese", the historical name of the building. They have a lovely terrace which is nice to enjoy lunch outdoor during the summer. They have a cheese raclette dish (for 2 pax) which needs to be pre-ordered. UN SUPER PRANZO IN RISTORANTE TIPICO Io e la mia family decidiamo di trascorrere una domenica in montagna ad Alagna e di pranzare in un ristorante tipico… la scelta per passaparola ricade sul Ristorante Unione… non potevamo fare scelta migliore! Appena arrivati ci sentiamo come a casa e il nostro barboncino viene subito messo a suo agio grazie alla splendida e calorosa accoglienza di tutto il personale… oltre alle 2 raclette prenotate già da casa abbiamo ordinato i ravioli al ragù di cervo e una tagliata di fassona… tutto stra buono e abbondante! Per chiudere in bellezza abbiamo preso tutti il gelato con i mirtilli selvatici: una bontà estrema! Ordino anche 1 caffè per me: pure il caffè era buono!! Ristorante super consigliato per la grande scelta di prelibate portate, professionalità, velocità nel servizio, grande attenzione per il cliente, molta cura dei dettagli!
