Server brought out a burger and said the wrong type it was, so I said it was mine. When the error was discovered, I asked if I could get the correct one. The waitress said I would need to pay again, even though they brought me someone else’s food in order to get the correct one. I do not recommend this place.

Let’s add context since I can’t reply directly to the knucklehead restaurant employee: Food at this restaurant does not come out all at once. You may get a burger and someone sitting with you gets theirs five minutes later. A polite person will wait to start eating until their family gets their entire meal. So YOUR employee comes out, asks who ordered the Alba Burger and puts it down in front of you after you say it’s yours. A few minutes later the “cheeseburger” comes out and gets put down in front of the last person at your table without food. I took a bite and realized the burger in front of me tastes very plain. So I look at my child and see she’s scrapping off everything from the burger because since she’s visiting from a foreign country, thinks maybe you accidentally put a sauce on her food and rather than complain, scrapes the sauce off. Turns out this “cheeseburger “ that YOUR waitress said, was actually the Alba Burger. So we switch but, because my daughter scrapped things off it was hard to put back together. Your other waitress then came and took it away saying she would get me a new one. That’s when magically because of a restaurant error, she informs me if I want another I have to pay. So I ask for my old one back which of course I can’t because she threw it away already.

So all this shows is my child is vastly more considerate to others than the cheap restaurant who made the original mistake, and still lacks the character to admit. Mistakes happen. Nobody would have been upset about it had the company that made the first mistake by saying an Alba Burger is actually a cheese burger and a cheeseburger actually be an Alba burger easily fixed it the error. If 13 Euro is too much money for you to fix a mistake, I question the rest of your ingredients. Do you reuse food leftover from tables...

Per nulla soddisfatta. Gli hamburgher erano molto buoni. Ma sul personale direi che hanno scelto proprio male. Di gentilezza 0 in assoluto, addirittura una di loro sbuffava per ogni cosa che doveva fare. Sebrava che stesse facendo un favore ai clienti quando veniva. Riccordo che lo stipendio le viene pagato grazie ai clienti. La mia amica aveva prenotato prima i posti per il suo compleanno e quando siamo arrivati alla fine ci siamo dovuti separate perché non hanno organizzato bene i tavoli. Per me il personale conta moltissimo. Qundi non credo di tornarci. Mi dispiace perché abbiamo mangiato e bevuto bene. La vasta scelta di birre è un punto forte.

Siccome non posso rispondere direttamente al proprietario modifico la recensione. Per prima cosa lo assicuro che già dalla risposta che ha dato si capisce che tipo di personale ci lavora. Secondo il suo locale è un pub non un ristorante di lusso. Se ogni tanto a festeggiare un evento arriva qualche grupetto chiassoso dovrebbe essere la normalità. Terzo, ma non meno importante, nessuno a urlato in faccia a nessuno. Certo tra di noi ne abbiamo parlato del comportamento del personale, ma nessuno di noi si è usato parlare male a qualche cameriera. In più, se voi considerate che invece di trovare una soluzione per qualche persona in più è meglio farli andare via, fate pure. La reputazione del locale voi ve la create. Tantissimi auguri se...
