I am writing this as a reply to J&B to my previous review, from my girlfriends phone now. After your reply i am now sure we got scamed. We never got offered cheaper sunbed options. The receptionist/cashier, specifically told us, there is only this 44 eur option left. Otherwise we would take the cheaper one ofc. She even brought out a piece of paper showing us only the bed number 22 is free and that's it. We were stupid enough to take it. We were then escorted to number 31? and saw there were more sunbeds free?? .. We also saw your beach guard boys setting sunbeds on the other side of the "premium" spot for other customers. We thought all the prices are the same there as well. We were clueless that there was so much cheaper options, becauss the cashier had only one option ready for us. Is it because we were tourist and didn't speak italian and were an easy target? We got lied about the only option, we got lied about the number, we got good old bent over/scamed. If that's not how your company works, you should have a word with your employes then. And what private beach? Two ropes dividing the exact same beach with sunbeds placed not even 1m from the other peoples sunbed? I'd take the 15 eur option with more space on the other side of the rope any day and be super happy with it! If i wasn't...
Read moreWe took a taxi to get here. The taxi was 40 euro for 7 people. The beach is nicer than Maria Pia in Alghero, there are some rocks and the water is a clear blue turqoise. There are sunbeds and umbrellas to rent, there is a section that is only for sunbeds, the price is 60 euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella, and there are sections for beach towels and you can rent sunbeds or umbrella for 5 euros each item, but it cand get a bit crowded. We had lunch on the terrace with mixed reviews from our group, the food was acceptable, some felt the food was plain, but you should adjust your standards considering this is a bar on the beach, we only wanted to have something quick as a snack, service was ok and the staff was nice and helpful. The toilet is the one used by the people renting the beach beds,...
Read moreI'm at the Beach Club today and I can say: don't come. The service is terrible. Yesterday I was at Sweet Dreams in Maria Pia Spiaggia and there they do have a beach club. The price (50 euros for a couple) is the same, but here at J&J you have to pay 1 euro in cash to take a shower (no one uses cash anymore), and they're also dishonest with customers. There are no waiters on the beach. And you can't take your own drinks into the arena (only water and Coca-Cola). If you want to have a glass of wine or a beer, you have to get up, leave the beach and go to the bar. And you have to drink everything there. I've always read that Sardinia has the best beach clubs in the world, but that's definitely not it. Stay away from here. I only stayed because I already paid...
