ONCE and NEVER AGAIN! More like a circus than a serious restaurant.

Service / Atmosphere Worst service I have ever experienced. They lack professionalism and someone who tells them what to do. So you have two seniors who are more less bullying/mobbing the three young ones who are truly without a plan. The latter are running (yes actual running) around like headless chickens even though there were not many people. One of the young ones is that unprofessional to pump into seated clients every single time passing them. Staff is generally arguing in front of customers.

Cuisine Two stars for the kitchen as I am not sure if it was there fault that one of ours mains arrived cold. One senior waiter offered us a free drink for that which we declined. The reason was that we were happy to leave that place asap.

The food was only of average quality. Still 28€ per portion of pasta.

Cabaret Insula You - as a paying customer - can see, feel and experience the lack of professionalism right there. I don’t know who the manager of that place is, but certainly the person must be clueless in this area of business. We were not the only paying clients that evening who had to experience that kind of unprofessionalism.

If you want a grotesque show almost like a cabaret… go there. If you want a nice evening with good...

Let’s start with food - it was good and very good. All 4 dishes we took - we loved them. I highly recommend Sardegnian pork - porccetto as a second course, it was very good. Why only 3 stars for service: were greeted by weird waitress, she stared at us for a while from the distance before approaching. When guests stay at the entrance, i think it is obvious we want to enter/be seated. We had s reservation and were eventually seated. Took the order, drinks arrived, complementary bread basket - not. All other tables- had it. Another waitress brought starters and than we mentioned bread - than she brought it. We sat for a good half an hour in front of our empty plates - untill yet another waiter noticed that and cleared the table. Meanwhile and food and wine are great, bread as well. Main courses arrived and were great. Our original waitress - nowhere near our table but still serving other tables. Not very attentive, that is all. Also, semifreddo...

We just sat waiting for a menu for 10mins then when the waitress eventually took our order and delivered our drinks we sat for a further 30mins until she returned to the dining are and noticed we had not received our food. 5 mins later she came over to our table to inform us that the burgers where actually finished at 1:30pm on a Sunday !! No apology or offer of complimentary drinks just the overpriced bill for water and two beers. We should have guessed something was not right as the place had only a couple of other diners whilst their neighbours “The Lord Nelson” was crowded.
