We had a truly memorable evening at Tavola Blu. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt special—elegant yet relaxed, with a welcoming and intimate vibe that’s perfect for a seaside dinner. The menu showcases the best of Sardinian seafood, and every dish we tried was a delight. The ingredients were clearly fresh and of high quality, and the preparation was both refined and full of heart. The homemade pasta with seafood was perfectly balanced, and the grilled catch of the day was tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented. What really stood out, though, was the service: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. The staff made us feel completely at ease. Tavola Blu is the kind of place that stays with you—not just for the food, but for the entire experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and elevated dinner in Cannigione.

It’s a small place, pretty basic, paper plates and plastic glasses but the food is simply incredible (highly recommend the marinated fish as an entree, the pasta vongole e bottarga as a first and the fried octopus). Prices are fairly good. The service though is not great. It is almost impossible to call and make a reservation, as they never pick up the phone, and you should definitely make a reservation if you are planning to have dinner especially on Fridays and Saturdays, so you need to show up and ask the owner for a reservation in advance. Don’t even waist your time asking the waitresses since they will only reply with “talk to the manager” in the best case scenario.

SCONSIGLIATO Non è più la Tavola Blu di una volta..... Scrivo a malincuore questa recensione principalmente perché siamo stati palesemente fregati: siamo in 5 e ordiniamo come antipasto 3 etti di moscardini a testa (perché gli antipasti si pagano a peso, e già qua avremmo dovuto sentire puzza di imbroglio). Ci vengono portati tre vassoi con quantità di moscardini diverse, a detta loro da mettere al centro e da dividere, la cui quantità di pesce era nettamente inferiore a quella ordinata e fatta pagare. Penso inoltre che un grosso problema sia il troppo caos, ci sono pochissimi camerieri, non proprio esperti, e chiedere banalmente una bottiglia d'acqua al tavolo è una vera impresa. Ad esempio quando siamo arrivati siamo stati sgridati perché ci siamo presentati con 15 minuti di ritardo (ed eravamo il secondo turno) ma il nostro tavolo non era neanche apparecchiato e abbiamo dovuto aspettare un sacco prima di ricevere le posate e ancora di più per i menù. Inoltre il pane non è mai arrivato e una volta finito di consumare i pochi moscardini della truffa non eravamo neanche di raccogliere il sugo vista la sua mancanza. Chiedere il pane è stato difficilissimo e ci è stato risposto dai camerieri che "era in forno". Già abbiamo trovato strano che non avessero pane a disposizione per dei clienti che avevano prenotato ma poi abbiamo capito: ci sono stati forniti panini surgelati scaldati al momento e in misera quantità. Volete la ciliegina sulla torta? Uno di noi è stato lavato dal cameriere che gli ha versato il vino addosso (allego foto) come se niente fosse. Non metto una stella perché almeno la qualità del cibo in sé era buona.

Service unfriendliness at it’s best! I can’t speak about the food as I wasn’t “allowed” to eat here! … my friends booked a table for 4: more friends including myself wanted to join them, so they begrudgingly accepted the reservation to increase at 8 people but when asked to increase it by one more they hit the roof, yelling this was unacceptable and not the way to book. Now, I could begin to understand if there was a real problem but this was not the case: my friends reported there was room for one more at the head of the table . They simply couldn’t be bothered with more work - and more money. So much for customer care and hospitality! ... This is not how to deal with customers. As for the food, I report what my friends told me: it’s all frozen fish. As long...
