Maninpasta — Restaurant in Arezzo

Dear Maninpasta Team: Thank you for a great culinary experience, tasty and friendly, truly Italian! This is a place my friend and I had the pleasure to visit on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the „bis”-es. Those are two half-portions of two pastas (the waiter will tell you which ones on a given day) for each person. At least two people have to order that, but it’s worth the try, because you get to try two amazing dishes at once. They are served in two lovely pots on a tray. Today, it was pici pasta with duck, and ravioli with ricotta and asparagus. It was exquisite! We ate it all even before I managed to take a picture ;) I also got a super tasty and wonderfully red-orange Aperol Spritz (Venetian style), and it was hard to resist the deserts: cheesecake with pistacchio (the cheesecake was a bit sour, the pistacchio mousse was sweet, all blended perfectly) and a great tiramisu. The girls who served us were extremely friendly and convincing ;) - and patient with my Italian too ;) And the lady who made pasta at the pasta station smiled back at me too - so nice! We came in a big group to celebrate a birthday, they baked a whole cake for us and even the waitress signed with us, home made pasta IN the restaurant, you can see the chef with the hands on the flour trough the glasswall. Correct and proffesional service but don't spect many words from the waiters. 5 stars even after a watery coffee, the kitchen deserve it...i will dream with the fish...

Il cibo è molto buono e di qualità, location calda e accogliente, anche se i tempi di attesa sono lunghi (anche per antipasti con preparazioni relativamente veloci), la pecca è che il menù non è veritiero con i prezzi, o meglio, ci sono due simboli uno per il ritiro in negozio e uno se si ordina con deliveroo. Avendo pranzato al tavolo pensavo che i prezzi fossero quelli del ritiro in negozio, invece quando sono andata alla cassa ho scoperto su un loro menu li davanti che i prezzi applicati erano quelli di deliveroo. Nel menu che avevano alla cassa però c'era scritto a penna "tavolo" sotto il simbolino di deliveroo mentre nei menu che ti davano al tavolo non c era scritto assolutamente, devo dire la verità mi sono sentita un po' presa in giro. Apparte che sia giusto o no pagare al tavolo come se avessi ordinato una cosa direttamente a casa, ognuno fa i prezzi che vuole per carità, capisco che i tempi non sono dei migliori ma è appunto per questo che ci vuole chiarezza.
