Enoteca Ristorante Il Grappolo — Restaurant in Arona

At dinner here our second day on holiday and wow was it amazing. It’s a small family run restaurant with an incredible attention to detail. The dishes were both very well executed and tasty.

Each dish has a recommended wine pairing, at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed the thought put into each pairing and it made for a wonderful experience.

The desserts, specifically the tiramisu, were the perfect end to a great dinner. We liked it so much that we came back a few days later for the last meal of our holiday and were equally impressed.

This is a must visit for anyone...

This restaurant is fantastic! I was travelling from Australia and went to this place with my family, and I'm so happy that I went. The restaurant is run by Paolo and Manuela who are a lovely Italian couple and make you feel very welcomed. I ordered the White Risotto and the Tiramisu, both of which were unbelievably delicious. The traditional Italian risotto is certainly the best I have ever eaten, and the homemade tiramisu is the best tiramisu in all of Italy. A good though not amazing risotto followed by a traditional creme caramel from piemonte that was truly excellent. The wines were good (there is a whole cellar full) and the local beers were tasty too. All served by a friendly family. My only complaint is that there are not a lot of veggie choices but that's pretty common for most of Arona really -- and these guys were happy to think along. All in all, I'd absolutely...
