Tai Ji Food Fusion Restaurant — Restaurant in Aviano

Tai Ji used to be located closer to the center of Aviano and was called Yufen Chinese Restaurant. However, they have moved into a more spacious facility with plenty of natural lighting, a vast improvement from the dreary basement-like feeling of their previous dining room. The food is the same as Yufen, however they do not offer a delivery option anymore.

European Chinese differs slightly from what many Americans are used to, but in a good way. The food is fresh and there’s no MSG!

The fried rice is very inexpensive, only 3.50-4.00 euro for a very large helping. I personally like getting dumplings, shrimp chips, and fried spring rolls to go along with whatever my family orders for main dishes. Main dishes that are family favorites are the crispy duck, General Tso’s chicken, teriyaki chicken, and broccoli beef.

They also serve some sushi of all types. Sashimi, mixed types of sushi, nigiri, even sushi boats! I had a tuna handroll called Maguro Temaki. It had Tuna, Avocado, micro greens, rice, and a little spicy mayo. Overall...

Everything was perfect. The food was tasty and fresh, the recipes simple and not overthought, the service was quick and uncomplicated without the unnecessary interruptions that you get in the u.s. where they ask you how you are doing every 3 minutes. Excellent food and succinct service at fair prices...this is what makes a good and successful restaurant. I wish I left every restaurant with the same satisfaction that I had when I left yours. Thank you.

Edit: I went again the next day and had the beef with broccoli, which I didn't like enough to finish. It was too salty and sweet and the beef had a strange slippery texture. Everything...

Great quality food! Portions are small but delicious. It is a little pricey for the portions sizes but again, it is very good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They need to fix the order in which they serve the food because whatever you order will not be brought out to you in the order you think it will...
