From the moment we walked in, the service started to be amazing, waiters with a smile on their faces, and they made you feel welcome.

They spoke English very well and gave us some suggestions of what to eat. They give you a preview of fresh fish available on the day for you to choose and how they can make it. We ordered oysters, which were very fresh and delicious, also ordered house wine, which was a very good choice. They first serve you the pasta and and then they take the fish away to prepare it for you to eat. The desert was tiramisu and caramel tarta they were delicious, not very sweet, which make you want more.

Overall I was soo satisfied with their service and their food. We also met the chef who came out and spoke to us, he spoke very good enlgihs also. I will definitely recommend this place when you are in town it's a must try. I will be going back and it was a great experience in...

Il Cantuccio was hands down one of the BEST restaurants in Italy. We traveled through Italy from Tuscany to Naples in September of 2013, and the local residents of Monte Di Procida highly recommended this restaurant. Il Cantuccio is literally a five minute walk from the ocean, and I could not believe how fresh the seafood was! We were served several courses of freshly prepared (absolutely DELICIOUS) food. Every plate that came out of the kitchen clearly showed the chef's passion for creating both classic and unique cuisine. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef/owner Luigi Lucci, and I was shocked that such a young man was behind the scenes of one of our best experiences that we had on our trip.

Bel ristorante, posizionato in maniera strategica per godere di una vista eccezionale sulla marina di Bacoli; sullo sfondo il golfo di Pozzuoli con il Vesuvio che incornicia il tutto. Ristorante molto curato, location perfetta per cene e pranzi intimi. Si vuole presentare come un ristorante di livello, ambiente intimo e menù digitale. Il servizio un pò acerbo, però, presa una bottiglia di vino non ci è stato fatto assaggiare prima di essere versato; poco male, ma sarebbe stato gesto gradito. Antipasti misti buoni. Frittura di calamari passabile, il pesce era fresco ma non era croccante e risultava un pò unta. Linguine al riccio non male. Il punto spiacevole è stato una linguina alle vongole che non ha trovato la "quadra", arrivato crudo, rimandato ovviamente indietro e ritornato palesemente "ripassato" in padella ma con le vongole fredde. Probabilmente sono state messe da parte prima di essere rituffato in padella per l'ulteriore cottura; forse si faceva prima a rifarlo da zero anche perché "rilavandolo" in padella con altra acqua perde sapore, peccato! Gesto carino quello di portarci un piccolo sotè per scusarsi ma quando è arrivato, circa 15 minuti dopo aver sparecchiato, avevamo già pagatone ci stavamo ormai vestendo per andar via. Esperienza che purtroppo non vorrò ripetere.

Mi pare di averle fatto anche dei complimenti ma lei si è concentrato a sottolineare che mi ha fatto una "cortesia" a soddisfare una mia richiesta fatta gentilmente ad un piatto oggettivamente crudo; lo trovo presuntuoso...peccato"
