I highly recommend visiting Soft and Crunchy by Vito. I have to admit that I’ve been watching Vito’s videos regularly for a few years now, and I traveled to Bari specifically to visit his place. His passion inspired me to start making pizza myself, and it has become my hobby. However, my visit to Soft and Crunchy exceeded all my expectations.
Vito, in real life, is an incredibly kind and approachable person. The dishes we tried – appetizers, pizza, and dessert – were absolutely delicious and unique. The atmosphere of the place, the people, and the overall vibe are simply amazing.
It’s important to book your visit in advance, as this is not a standard restaurant but rather a culinary experience where every guest is treated individually.
I was initially worried that the restaurant might feel slightly artificial, relying on internet fame, but that was not the case at all. The experience was authentic and delightful. I highly recommend a visit to Vito’s place – a wonderful tasting journey through different types of pizza, accompanied by a warm and family-like atmosphere. Read moreSoft & Crunchy stands up to it's name the pizzas are nice and soft out the oven, I would add lite as well.
The brand is created by Maestro Vito Iacopelli but also the business is run by the family.
I would recommend the diner experience they hold from time to time where you can try different pizzas with nice ingredients.
There's also american brunch to try out every Sunday.
The mood is very cozy, like at home and perfect for families ! You'll be nicely received and The service is also attentive and fast.
Very nice touch of design and decoration, bringing some of the history of Vito's from the USA and Italy.
I would suggest coming here by car, even if by train it's possible a little walk is needed perfect to digest afterwards or get even more...
Read moreHad the pleasure of dining here on my trip to Italy and I loved the creative concepts that come out of this restaurant. During my visit, the concept was make your own pizza. You can pick the crust (signature, multi grain, and even pinsa) as well as the toppings which included American style brisket! My favorite was the signature dough that Vito the owner teaches in his master classes (soft and crunchy ❤️). The ingredients were high quality. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs at work.
The decorations and ambiance of the restaurant is very unique because each item in the shop has meaning to Vito’s life and you can see the influences from his experiences in the...
