WARNING!!!!
I was charged €50 when I should have paid no more than €13. Totally dishonest owner.
We went for the vino sfuso only (wine from the barrel that you take away), which is typically far less expensive than wine in bottles and of very high quality.
We are accustomed to paying around €3.00 per litre for red wine, and €2.50 for white, here it is €8.00 per litre no matter what you order, which is absolutely outrageous, especially since the quality is not at all what we are used to.
In addition, the store itself was not particularly organized or clean. And for some reason payment by card did not work (our card works everywhere else and we have been in Italy for 3 months) so I had to pay cash, which seems a bit “off”.
I got 3 litres of white and 3 litres of red, he charged me €50. I felt I had no choice but to pay because the wine had already been poured into the containers. Unlike other vino sfuso shops, the prices were not displayed anywhere.
*UPDATE: When I got home I checked their website (see below), which clearly shows that I was ripped off BIG TIME, as their online menu clearly shows the prices are around €2.00 per litre....

I then had an aperol spritz and my partner went for their home dry white wine. The wine was amazing! We sat outside in the shade while enjoying our drinks. The owners (I think) were very kind and polite. Prices were also on point, with each drink costing 5 Euros. Card payments are accepted.
Overall a great experience and would...
