If only 0 stars existed! I visited this place during a trip to Bellano. We went and sat in the terraced area outside opposite the main building. We had just grabbed an ice cream from a shop up the road for our 2 year old daughter (not ourselves) as we stumbled across this place. It was cold and wet and we wanted to enjoy a hot coffee. As we were ordering coffee the waitress noticed our daughter had a half eaten ice cream and we were asked to leave. I said I felt that was a little harsh but she persisted she was following the rules of the managing owners. I asked to speak to the owners and in doing so explained that we were not being disrespectful and that we had already ordered ice cream for our daughter and before seeing their venue. We merely wanted to enjoy some shelter from the rain and a couple of hot coffees. The owner shrugged their shoulders and asked us to leave. So we left the outside terraced area which had an enormous amount of available space, whilst it was tipping it down with rain and with our 2 year old daughter. I understand the point about eating food in someone else’s restaurant, but show a little humanity when this is not deliberate, when your terraced is empty, when your customer is trying to find some relief from the weather and with their child, and your customer is trying to be a paying customer for coffees! It’s just cutting your nose off to spite your face and it’s extremely unfriendly. It shows your true colours. This is NOT a friendly place. My advice is spend your money in friendlier places and don’t line the pockets of people like this who don’t care about you in...

first of all. the things that you are saying happened when we we’re about to pay. y’all were already rude ever since we went in and about the toilet issue, we have been waiting and knocking there for 10 minutes and NO ONE was responding, and the other door was opened we urgently needed to use a restroom. then right after went out of the restroom y’all were looking at us as if we did something horrible, at the cashier a staff of yours was pointing at us saying “those CHINESE used the restroom” lmao. “they would have scolded italian people as well” you say?? then was it necessary saying “chinese” when y’all could’ve just said “they”. we know that we shouldn’t have used your private bathroom and we apologize for that but i don’t think that’s the only issue here. please teach your staff some manners instead of taking their side when their at fault too. one of us ordered a PANCAKE and 2 TOASTS what arrived? a WAFFLE and a toast pff, then when we asked (kindly lmao) your waitress to change it she whispered “che palle” as if it was our fault that she can’t get the order right. and if u rather argue instead of apologizing for how y’all acted i have more things to say.
PS. the waffles and pancake were old, cold and hard. it’s like y’all made...
Read moreThis place is really nicely situated with a terrace on the "right side" of the road (read: finally a resto close to the lake without having a busy, noisy road in front of it - it has a road in the back of the terrace though). The waitresses were friendly.
But.... apart from a sound system with a too loud Spotify free version with adds, the food is far below expectations (a 12€ lasagne worth 4€ : a tiny piece, kids' menu size, a bit too grilled, and spaghetti pomodoro - without much taste other than tomato). This place being a "gelateria" = ice cream expert, we'd hoped that the dessert would compensate for the main dish.... it didn't. Pity.
The terrace tables don't have numbers. One is then asked to go pay inside without the waitress informing the bar/counter staff about the order. So the bar staff doesn't know = you better remember what your plates were called so you can tell them. We waisted €52,50 for two, and hope we'll be digestively fine this night.
If this owner would make a culinary effort, this place could literally...
