Italo Tresoldi forno artigianale — Restaurant in Bergamo

Phenomenal! Beautiful desserts and breads that taste as good as they look. And the service is wonderful - from the people who bake to the people who staff the counter and registers - friendly and efficient. When I was studying in Bergamo last semester, I discovered this bakery through a friend - one of the best finds! I went several times. Recently I placed an order to have a delivery of assorted pastries for my school - everyone loved it! Matteo Tresoldi (the kind owner/master baker) took my order and helped arrange everything - from the ordering to the free delivery - just great! I was able to easily pay using a link they provided (since I'm no longer in Italy)...so for anyone who wants to order from abroad for friends, classmates, family in Bergamo - you definitely can - just contact them via phone or email. I don't speak Italian but used google translate and got the help of an Italian speaker to order - I couldn't find a menu online, so you'd need to talk with them about what you want (I used photos from their FB and Instagram accounts to make my order :). Please ignore the negative comments of the lady from Milan! I have traveled throughout Italy, the land I love almost as much as my California, USA. When I travel I pay special attention to bakeries and pasticcerie (pastry shop just does not do it). Everything that I have tried at Italo Tresoldi's is first rate, delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. The prices are the same as at any artisan (artigianale) place, whether in Bergamo or Milan. After you treat yourself at Tresoldi's you can do your grocery shopping across the street at Aldi's supermarket. If you are driving you can park in Aldi's parking lot. If it's lunchtime (12:30 to 2:30) Monday through Friday you can take advantage of an incredible deal offered by the Ristorante La Carbonella, two blocks away on...

Questa mattina mio marito ha acquistato della pizza,nulla da eccepire,ha acquistato anche uno strudel ,chiedendo per ben due volte,all'inserviente se fosse strudel di mele e se vi fosse o meno uvetta(sapendo che io non la mangio) , alla risposta negativa,l ha acquistato tranquillamente,questa è la foto dello strudel,e dell'uvetta contenuta in sole due fette....
