Pizzeria Rolling Stone — Restaurant in Bobbio

I visited this restaurant recently and was disappointed by the overall experience. We were seated fairly quickly, but then waited around 20 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. Eventually, we had to get up and find a staff member, who was on their phone in the corner. After that, it took about 45 minutes for the food to arrive, which felt like a very long wait.

I ordered the Parma pizza, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The ham didn’t seem like real Parma ham and tasted more like speck. The tomato sauce was very bland, with no real seasoning or flavor to it. The dough, however, was well made and had a nice texture — probably the best part of the dish.

The staff didn’t speak any English, which wasn’t a major problem since the menu includes English descriptions, but it’s something international visitors might want to be aware of.

Given the price point, I expected a much better experience in terms of both food and service. With some improvements, this place could be much better, but I wouldn’t return based...

We waited 45 minutes for our meal, which is far too long, especially considering the disappointing quality of the food. My pizza was soggy, as shown in the attached photo. The tomato sauce lacked any flavor — no herbs, no depth, not even a fresh tomato taste. The "Parma ham" used wasn’t authentic Parma but some type of speck, and the mushrooms were definitely not fresh.

The dough itself was decent, but with the rest of the pizza being so bland, even a good base couldn't save the dish.

Service was extremely lackluster. After being seated, we waited around 20 minutes without being acknowledged and eventually had to get up and look for a waiter, who we found lounging in a corner on their phone.

Staff spoke no English, which isn’t a major issue since the menu has English descriptions, but it’s worth noting for international guests.

Metto una stella perché non si può mettere di meno. Posto assolutamente da evitare. Attirano i clienti con il cartello : Giardino interno da paura . Ecco spiegato il motivo ,c è da avere paura soprattutto del titolare. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino ,lo hanno portato aperto,per aver fatto notare che in genere il vino si apre a tavola ,abbiamo avuto un pessimo servizio .Non solo ci hanno fatto aspettare tanto ,ma lo gnocco fritto alcuni pezzi erano buoni altri duri ,il salume era abbondante rispetto ai pezzi di gnocco,abbiamo chiesto altro gnocco,ci hanno ignorati completamente.Alla fine abbiamo chiesto il pane ,anche per quello ci hanno fatto aspettare.Ci siamo alzati senza prendere caffè e dolce.Alla cassa ci aspettava il proprietario che ci ha aggrediti verbalmente ,accusandoci di avere rotto le balle e che avremmo trattato male le ragazze ,cosa assolutamente non vera .Urlava come un pazzo facendosi sentire da tutti ,a nostro avviso voleva coprire il fatto che ci ha portato la bottiglia aperta e quando il mio amico ha cercato di farlo ragionare e gli ha fatto notare che comunque il cliente ha sempre ragione gli è corso dietro .... Roba da pazzi

Poi mi fermo qua' .Posto assolutamente...
