My colleague and I were very disappointed with the service. My colleague and I arrived and were first told to wait 10 min , and 10 min took 1hr. Considering that my colleague and I arrived very late and we wanted to eat African food, it would be the first time for my colleague to try African food, so we waited, we waited, and every time we asked how much longer we had to wait the answer was 10 min, they lied to us the whole time. I know about the African clock. But unfortunately we are not in Africa, we live in Europe, and these restaurant owners have also grown up in Europe and they know how things work here, how important the service is, I understand that you wait 10, 15 min but not more than an hour for food. But they could be honest and say, we are all booked up, there is no room and you will be able to wait that long, and let the customer decide whether to wait or not. And I was not happy with the food either, I ordered fufu and peanut sauce, which was tasteless. My friend ordered Jollof rice , she was ok with it . And very overpriced for such a small portion of food when we got it. And they charged us too much, despite me telling them they didn't want to admit they made a mistake. Faccio questa recensione sperando di poter contrubuire a migliorare il locale, perché l’idea è molto carina e spero possa andare bene. Premettendo che non sono mai stata in africa e quindi non so come sia la cucina tipica la do un parere prettamente personale. Mi è piaciuto molto che le chips fossero fatte di platano fritto, non me l’aspettavo. La presentazione dei piatti è molto carina e curata, purtroppo non sono riuscita a finire il mio piatto perché era enorme. Riguardo al menù ed è l’unico appunto che vorrei fare penso che si potrebbero creare più piatti piccoli da poter mixare. esempio: io ho preso un piatto con pollo, riso e fagioli e spaghetti, ma non ho trovato nel menu dei primi la possibilità di prendere solo gli spaghetti o solo il riso, secondo me se ci fosse la possibilità di avere dei mini piatti monoporzione ognuno avrebbe la possibilità di combinare la cena come più gli piace e quindi la possibilità di provare anche cose diverse, inoltre consiglio di mettere una descrizione degli ingredienti usati nei piatti più dettagliata per chi non li conosce. Lovely place with friendly staff willing to explain the dishes. The menu is varied with tasty and well presented dishes. Overall, really glad we stumbled upon it, it was a great and delicious experience! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone wanting to try...
