Ramen Bar Akira - Brescia — Restaurant in Brescia

This was the most disappointing and annoying meal ever in Brescia. We first thought the restaurant would be very nice so we decided to take a try, but ended up waiting for around 45 minutes!!! FORTY FIVE MINUTES😡. Don’t they even think that we don’t have much free time and we have more activities??? we asked the waitress if they could cook faster and the waitress (she) said 5 mins. When the food arrived, they ended up giving the wrong order which we asked to cancel and change to Kastu Curry instead of Kastu Don. (Which means we need to wait for more time). So we asked them again how long we have to wait for more, we received the answer “you have to wait for 10 minutes more” (FOR A CURRY?). While the entire waiting process, the clients who came later than us, got their food before us, while we waited for 45 minutes 😠. This was such a waste of time. After we waited for 10 mins more for the curry, the bowl only contained RICE and CURRY, NO meats (supposed to have pork). Which also means we had to wait for more for the meat… 😒 finally, the meat arrived, very disappointed AGAIN. It tasted sour and nothing. I don’t understand how they can give us unfresh food. we first also thought the prices make sense for a dish, but no, not anymore. NEVER. At the end we decided to just leave the restaurant and we tried to ask them to give us back our money for the curry since it was an absolute scam. We asked them and we don’t need to pay for the curry anymore. But we received no apology, and the waitress acted like she knew that it would happen. I don’t understand how this got 4.6 stars. It did not deserve this. In conclusion, we ordered Kastu Curry, 2 Ramens. The ramens also did not taste as great as we thought. And to the problem of Curry, I’ve already explained. This was a terrible experience and we will never come again. I ended up not getting full since the meats were sour because they were not fresh, and so I aged toast in another restaurant instead 😒😒 Again, we do not recommend it. The only good thing about this meal was the waitress agreed to let us not pay for the curry, other things...

Purtroppo mi vedo costretta a dover aggiornare e cambiare le mie opinioni riguardo questo ristorante. Eravamo li in 8 persone, ordiniamo da bere e gli antipasti e già dall’inizio sbagliano portando un piatto sbagliato e saltando una birra. Facciamo presente che l’antipasto era sbagliato (era del tavolo praticamente a fianco) alchè aspettiamo un ora intera per vederci la cameriera che consegna il nostro antipasto al tavolo a fianco (tornando poi a dirgli che non era il loro ma senza fare nulla), quindi aspettiamo un altra mezz’ora per solo un antipasto. Ovviamente super lentamente arrivano anche i piatti ordinati. Arrivati alla fine mi alzo per pagare e ricordo di aver IN TEORIA diritto ad uno sconto del 20% visto che poco prima di capodanno ci avevano annullato la prenotazione 10 minuti prima a causa di un, “abbiamo lasciato la macchinetta accesa e quindi ha preso più prenotazioni di quelle che possiamo avere”, quindi lo chiedo in cassa visto che viviamo lontano e per noi non è facile raggiungere il centro. Nulla, dopo mille “chiedo al mio responsabile” e cose non c’è stato modo di farlo applicare visto che “eh ma io ho chiamato 4 giorni fa avvisando i clienti che non abbiamo più rapporti con the fork e non facciamo più prenotazioni”. Ok ma questa mistica chiamata a me non è mai arrivata e soprattutto mi sembra impossibile avvisare tutti TUTTI i clienti. Ero in compagnia di amici per il mio compleanno quindi ho preferito, viste anche le scuse ridicole del cameriere, di semplicemente pagare 200€ e passa euro e andarmene al più presto.

Morale della storia. Porzioni super ridotte dall’inizio e per il prezzo e servizio davvero tremendo, come se lavorassero li da ieri.

Il locale è veramente bellissimo, ovunque ti giri c'è una attenzione e cura nei dettagli non da sottovalutare. Amo lo stile pop-giapponese: ci sono manga da poter leggere nella attesa su una scaffalatura, stampe di giornale giapponesi su una parete che illustrano la storia di videogiochi, manga e simili, neon luminosi e luci molto suggestive. L'ambiente è molto accogliente, sa di casa. Semplice ma efficace.

Il cibo è super, guardando i prezzi mi aspettavo una certa qualità... che è stata ampiamente rispettata!! Bravissimi! Katsudon eccezionale, così come i vari ramen e la loro pasta fresca. I bao buoni, i gyoza pure e ottimi i takoyaki! Li fanno come quelli giapponesi! Unico appunto sul cibo: i nigiri. Non mi sono piaciuti, il riso era insipido, completamente, e purtroppo il ripieno non bastava per creare la giusta armonia di sapori e dare la spinta giusta ad un piatto che è molto più di così. Non penso li riprenderò. Non immangiabili, ma non consiglio. Sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dai dolci però. Il matchamisù è i loro ice-mochi sono una bomba (consiglio quelli al sesamo).

Per quanto riguarda il servizio, tasto un pochino dolente: lunga attesa e tanto casino con i dispositivi elettrici. Ci hanno preso l'ordinazione due volte a distanza di 20 minuti l'una dall'altra, perché la prima volta 'il sistema' non aveva registrato i piatti. Sono cose che capitano, certo, ma anche agli altri tavoli ho notato abbastanza sgomento. Tempi d'attesa lunghetti e poca attenzione dalle cameriere secondo me. Gentilissime e molto carine ma un pochino impanicate!
